It is called hemocytometer because it was first used for blood cell counts (hemo - blood; cyto - cell; meter - measure; to count). It was becoming obsolete because of automated cytometers used in medical laboratories.
In our lab we use the 500 mL media bottles but also the smaller media bottles like you have on the left in the gibco bottle weight segment of the video. Our problem is more with the small media bottles floating than with the large ones. Is there a bottle weight designed for the smaller bottles as well? That would fix all our problems.
I saw a Cell Culture certificate for clinical application without any endotoxin. How is that possible taking acccount that many substances , including mycoplasma removal kits contain little level of endotoxin. Is there any substance to remove completely endotoxin ?

Hi John, Thank you for your question. The temperature in the incubator is 37°C. Most mammalian cells thrive at 37 °C. For more information about cell culture, please check the following link. There are weight rings you could buy, but you'll need a higher plateau to not submerge the smaller bottles like a rack in the water bath.
this is amazing
