I think my main struggle with raising my 1 and 3yr old calmly, is that not only am I certain that my 3yr old has undiagnosed adhd, but I also very much so have adhd and my emotional regulation is still a huge work in process! So both of our brains have haywired emotional responses going all day long! lol I'm really working hard on it since I was raised with my mom also having adhd, but not having nearly as much information on these things OR even self awareness honestly to adjust her parenting style for us kids. And I'm determined to change the cycle in my home. And Lord willing, it's gonna happen! :)
I love your perspective on this! There are lots of people in situations similar to yours. There's hope! You've got this! teachingselfgovernment.com/tsg-parenting-course/
Talk about audio track. I looked for you on Spotify but could not find you. Are you going to put your trainings there? I would to hear you there while I clean and do things around the house to train myself to be a logical parent. Staying calm is the hardest part but I have learned from you with planning and knowing ahead of time what are the steps has helped me tremendously not to say has help my child even more. Thank you so much for all your help and wisdom. ❤
Great question! I don't put my trainings on Spotify, but we do have a podcast that is on most audio platforms. You should be able to find it here: open.spotify.com/show/4fGitt8J0VDbDfZQyO8s8g I hope that helps!
Wow thanks, I trying to find an article about behind talking, and it led to your channel, and although if the title is for parents, it is extremely relevant and looking at your latest video, you look amazingly younger 😍😀👍
I'm here because I'm feel like I'm failing raising my 3-year-old son who is like adhd and my 12-year-old daughter who is defiant and has anxiety. Going to get your calm parenting toolkit.. I have become a monster parent because I can't keep myself calm and situations.
I'm so sorry you have been having issues! If you contact Richard (he's our IT man) and ask him the questions you have, he should be able to help you get what you need. You can email him at support@teachingselfgovernment.com
I work with toddlers and am blessed to be able to take my toddler with me. The trouble is, it’s hard to discipline him while I’m working and his meltdown makes it hard to do my job, and it’s hard to take the time to properly correct his behavior. Do you have any ideas how I can properly correct behavior in a work environment? I adore my boy and adore my job and want to excel at both, both are a blessing.
If you start teaching your child the four basic skills of self-government, it will make parenting and working easier. Those skills are the center of these resources. teachingselfgovernment.com/store/
