    Due to popular demand - links to the colours/mediums I use for my paintings are now in the description box.

    I absolutely adore your tutorials. Really simplistic and quite to the point, but in a 'caring' way somehow. You're an awesome TH-cam tutor👌

      Thank you so much :-))) And thank you also for your nice and productive feedback - that`s really what I try to do - show people how it`s done in a straight way not wasting their time. And your feedback shows me that at least I`m getting better at teching people ;-)))

    Serene. A lady in deep thought as her hair drapes about her gorgeous features.

      Thanks a lot :-) Yes, that indeed was the intention behind this painting :-) Being moody is part of life and sometimes it really is a nice break out of this chaos all around, especially at the moment with all this going on....

    Hello Tobias, This video was so helpful to me. I love to do people and this is going to a BIG help. Look & sounds like one of the biggest things to remember is soft. Be well, James

      Hi James, glad that this video helped you :-))) And yes - soft transitions are one of the major keys to a realistic looking portrait. See ya :-)

    Omg this is literally amazing! From the pose to the shading to the colours everything is brilliant! You're so good at painting and I love how you explained everything too This looks like it took a long time but it was well worth it :)

      Thank you Eve :-)))) It took a while but not too long, I was a little bit lazy on the extremely fine hair detail - I just left those out and that saved me a lot of time ;-)

    Great painting, I really like the cool flavored colors. Have you ever seen the animated movies "Akira" and "Ghost in the Shell"?

    • @brennerfineart
      @brennerfineart  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you :-))) I have seen "ghost in the shell" - in a way a bit similar from the feeling to "I Robot". But as I`m a passionate fantasy/scifi fan I pretty much love everything from this direction :-)))

    What colors did you mix?

    • @brennerfineart
      @brennerfineart  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used my "normal" palette - titanium white, raw sienna, cadmium red, phthalo blue, dioxazine purple and lamp black (no lemon yellow that I also have on my palette was used)
