Mayu's little boy will be 2 years old on November 22nd, 2024, making him almost two years old when this song came out. - Great ballad. Nemo really going places, and exploring their musical chops. - Nice-1.
Tonally and structurally it sounds like a Pay Money To My Pain ballad, only with mainly Japanese lyrics. That kinda makes sense given guitarist Pablo was heavily involved in both the guitar & bass recording/production. I'd say it doesn't quite match up to their definitive ballad, Life. But it's a solid enough entry into their catalogue and felt quite genuine.
Unique, maayybe not bit Greenday-ish but they wish they wrote it, still Best in diversity, I see this becoming a great Mothers Day Anthem vid, internationally 💖
Thanks for pointing that out, I should say that I didn't so much miss it as didn't mention it as it seemed pretty clear in the video. For me, the general topic was more about motherhood, both from their perspective, but also talking about their own mothers. It seemed to branch out in quite an organic way so that, although I initially thought it was just about the one birth, it became more an anthem for child raising as a general. Hence why I didn't really focus in on any of the individual clips once that had become clear. I think that writing a love letter to the general process of having kids, having parents, that whole journey, it's a really gorgeous idea that many people around the world will connect to. Lot of love for that :)
That is a fair distinction, I agree. I think I chose that wording because I was trying to play devil's advocate to the worst possible way you could interpret the album at that moment. However, yeah, homage would have been a more fair wording for sure.
The beginning was Mayu with her son. Then they showed pics of the band when they were younger. Followed with random pics of other kids.. At the end they made their old photos move with AI.
It is a sweet but ultimately not that memorable. Needless to say a great band but the song is an anthem that feels as if it is just a bit too saccharine. Certainly elements that are great. Maybe just one for the non cynical fans among us. I tend to agree that it needed something to bring it home. Some will love the sentimental message. Others will not. For me it was nice enough walk on a dull day. But will need a few more repeats for me to be convinced to put on walking boots.
BEAUTIFUL song :) they are so amazing band! thank you for reaction...hope you always have beautiful days. God bless.
Beautiful Nemophila...

Liked the song but the last 20 seconds were great 💥. Nice reaction 👏. Thanks 🙏.
Amor por Nemophila ❤ gracias por compartir 👍😎
This will make Bono think of his mum
Rounds off the other two songs on the EP perfectly. Love it.
Not as usually thumping as per normal nemo.
but scandalously mellow nemo not bad 😉 7/10 🐬

You missed that much of the footage is from the band members as children

Re. 'Seize the Fate': homages, not parodies!
