Gibson has recently released their standard lines (both Les Paul and SG) in a wide variety of colors. The one she has is called "Pelham Blue". She's had a Dave Grohl signature series Epiphone semi hollow body in the same color for quite some time and has used it in videos occasionally. Of course, Epiphone is Gibson's more economical entry level line. The fact she's sprung for a Gibson Les Paul Standard ($2800 in the US) means she's getting serious about it. Obviously, the guitar aren't plugged in for the video shoot. She does use the beginner form for the A chord, but it works just as well. Her G, D, and 6th bar chord form looks good!
Thank you for this information. Have you watched Tamu’s older video of her touring the manufacture of her signature (I think) drum sticks? I would love to see Nemophila come back to the US and if Mayu has the opportunity to vlog a Gibson factory tour in Nashville (I think). I made a similar comment to Miyako after she purchased her’s. However, it is probably inappropriate as she is signed by Dean and they produce her signature guitar. Regardless, I enjoy those tours.
