Oh my gosh thank you!!! I struggled all night to figure this out. Watched other videos, nothing worked!!! I started to cry and then saw yours!!! It worked perfectly, thank you!
I have been trying to do this project for 2 days, watching other videos about it, and still not being able to get it. Until now. Thank you so so much for this video. You fully explain everything and I love it. I finally understand how to make this.
I watched another tutorial on how to do a knockout and I tried it for probably 6 hours yesterday just to fail. My friend recommended your videos and I just watched this and I feel confident that I can do it right this time. Gotta try it when I get home! Thank you!!!
I have been tinkering with this since before Mother's Day and could not figure out how to do it on my own. After watching a few minutes of your video, I was able to recreate it in DS and cut it. THANK YOU!!
Thank you so much for this video. Super helpful especially for beginners like myself. I do just have one question. Since the idea is to use different colors, how would I cut this on the cricut?
I'm so glad it helped. I know when I first started learning, I had to stick with a few "teachers" on You Tube that I could understand and explained how I understood.
Omg I watched this and you were perfect . I have infinity things and ideas for my Cricut but have not done one yet . Please tell me how do I print this . I have so much vi glad but don’t know how to use it . Even less imagine 2 colors . I would love to do it for my adopted mom .
Thank you for this tutorial it really helped me. I am a beginner and this was my first time ever making the tiles. your explanation and everything was so detailed and I was able to make two with no problem.
@@AussieMumVLOGS, sorry I’m just now replying. yes there’s some tiles that you can buy at Lowe’s. Thats where I got mine and I believe Home Depot had them too. this is what I use for this and the same thing she used in the tutorial. very easy to follow. This was my first time making them and they actually came out very nice. I have as gifts.
Could you make a video explaining about the comercial letters please!? And if you know about the brands too. I’ve seen people selling stuff with Disney or any other logo. How come they don’t get in trouble? Thank you so much!
When I hold the shift/vertical bar button on my PC keyboard I get a square. Not a squiggly heart like you got. ...and the right and left bracket keys (with shift depressed) gets me nothing. What's up with that?
Thank you, I followed you as I watched the video and did everything exactly like you said but I am not getting an option to slice. Can you tell me what Im doing wrong?
@@SpecialHeartStudio have you made a follow up video on how to cut and layer? The layering is where I have my problem. Love this video so very helpful and kind of you to share
Oh no! I've seen reports of this off and on in FB groups. I would save your project. Then log out of DS, shut it down and log back in. Let me know how that goes. You may have to contact Cricut if that doesn't work as it may be a bug. I'd love to hear the outcome.
Wow, you made this super easy to understand. Thank you so much. I am so glad I watched this tutorial. I'm now confident in trying to use the offset feature.
Thanks so much for the video tutorial. I found it great. I follow the instruction but the offset is not slicing for me. Any idea what I could be doing wrong. I have the names welded and Mom & offset are both just text. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Make sure you've selected the offset and the big letters and then slice. The slice results all stay on the screen and you have to delete the pieces you don't want.
Love this and I’m trying to make it now. I’m a very newbie at this, and for the life of me I can’t figure out how to highlight anything (like the kids names with the offset) to move it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!
Hi Jackie, You should be able to click the font and move it, or hold down the mouse button and drag over the font and offset at the same time to select two. If that doesn't work, you can always click on the layers panel (right side). If wanting to select more than one layer, hold shift while clicking each one.
There are a couple different numbers on this one. The UPC is 28492 20676 and then there is another number in bold: 526282. The description on the sticker just says Bright White Glass Tile (Common 2x12) Hope this helps. Good luck!
Thank you so much for this! I was having problems getting the offset to work right. I tried your "no weld" trick, and it worked perfectly!! Thank you so much!! 💓
Hi there! This may be a silly question but I just started using my cricut and was making a shirt with this knockout text and it was two different colors. Can you help me figure out how to make this with two different colors? Will I have to cut them out and iron them on separately?
Hi there. Cricut Design Space doesn't have different subscription levels. So there is no business edition. In order to have offset feature, your computer needs to meet certain system requirements. You can review those here: help.cricut.com/hc/en-us/articles/360061650414-How-to-use-the-Offset-feature-in-Design-Space-
If you have the color set on screen as different colors, Design Space will then show you which color to put on the mat first after you click the "Make It" button.
If you're computer meets the requirements, I highly recommend contacting Cricut Customer Service, they've been able to help others in the same situation.
Once downloaded and unzipped, fonts need to be installed on your computer. How you go about that will depend if you're on Windows or Mac, but in general, you can usually right click on the font, then you'll have an install option. Once the font is installed on your computer, restart Design Space and it should then show up in your font list.
Love this video ! I couldn’t get the oddest feature to work for the life of me so I definitely am going to try this when I get home ! Is the font still available free for personal use ?
Thank you so much!!!! I watched numerous other videos on this and felt like an absolute imbecile! Everyone said it was so easy. Not for this Grandma! However, yours is the game changer!!!! Wow! I am so relieved! Awesome teacher! I know where I’m coming for my next tutorial!
I've heard other's having troubles too. I highly recommend contacting Cricut and reporting the issues. Remember, it's still in beta and they need our feedback to get it working correctly.
Oh no! First thing I'd suggest if your computer meets the minimum requirements is to make sure you're on the "New" canvas style in settings. If yes, to both of those, I'd recommend contacting Cricut.
Oh my gosh thank you!!! I struggled all night to figure this out. Watched other videos, nothing worked!!! I started to cry and then saw yours!!! It worked perfectly, thank you!

Hi Mary. In order to slice, you need to have 2 layers (only) selected. For this project, you'd want to select the offset and the bigger Mom word
@@gjoacrandell7634 Thank you so much for the quick reply, started all over again and it worked!
Yay!!! Glad it worked. Not sure how or why my comment was under my old YT account that I don't even use. Technology 🤷🏻♀️
Can you show when it cuts out please. I'm new and get confused when ppl say the print n cut. Do I need to print it out first and then cut it?
Love your style of explaining things. You've done a brilliant job. Thank you! And without music is another BIG plus.

Amazing tutorial thank you! How do you cut it with the 2 different colours? Sorry I’m new 🙄

Is it a two cut design, do I cut the mom then the kids names and put them together on the tile?
Yes, you would cut them separately, then place on the tile one after the other.

I should have added that. I used Oracal 651 vinyl on a subway tile that I purchased at Lowes.
Hi there! This may be a silly question but I just started using my cricut and was making a shirt with this knockout text and it was two different colors. Can you help me figure out how to make this with two different colors? Will I have to cut them out and iron them on separately?
Hello! Yes, you're exactly right. You'll need to cut them on separate mats, then adhere one, then the other. Look for a layering HTV video soon.
I love this! I'm new to Cricut, learning more everyday. How did you learn about the shift slant and the bracket keys?
Do you have to have buisness additional for the offset feature?
Hi there. Cricut Design Space doesn't have different subscription levels. So there is no business edition. In order to have offset feature, your computer needs to meet certain system requirements.
