Another fun idea for a repaint is to give it the green colors based on the chameleon like Isla Sorna Carnotaurus from The Lost World novel.

I’d love to see you repaint one like the Disney Carnotaur design. Excellent stuff!
I'm thinking about resculpting the segmented neck and tail sections to make them one piece, and then making a mold and casting one piece rubber replacement parts with a wire inside so they retain the articulation but get rid of the segmented look. This Carnotaurus wood look even more amazing without the segments! Gotta do it.

Awesome video as always andy! I was wondering, since you said you might pent another one of these, could you make a tutorial on the fallen kingdom version of a carno repaint. Maybe not even a full on repaint, maybe sort of a Jurassic park compound style paint mod that plays off the factory colors? I think that would be pretty cool and a lot simpler!

I can easily see this repaint as a “proof of concept” for a possible Hammond Collection Male Demon Carnotaurus figure. I hope Mattel gets to see this video because this shows how good it can possibly be if they actually did pursue this version as an 2nd variation figure for 2024/2025.

can repaint the Hammond collection carnotourus as burned toro and the novel carnotourus and also the demon carnotourus is super accurate to the movie counterpart.

Wasn’t the Hammond collection carno originally going to be the demon carno?
Alright so I’m repainting the Mattel Metriacanthosaurus using the colours of a Gila Monster but everytime I move the joints, paint disappears frm them. The joints are also extremely stiff and hard to move. Does anyone know how to fix this? I can’t articulate the figure without paint coming off frm the joint.
I have watched some JPcompound vids but I still can’t find the answer to solve this joint problem. Rn I’m planning to use a clear coat method but idk if that will work.
This might work, use an exacto knife on the inside of the joints to do if there is any plastic rubbing from the joint you can hopefully remove it.
Use some ink. Keep rubbing it on and blow drying it because the ink will stain the plastic joints

Demon has green eyes :) inaccurate dominion render ruined it, also the underbelly is brighter and arms are also white otherwise well done!
