i have the 2021 model i7 16gb ram and is really nice, screen is amazing, only issue was getting used to dealing with an oled screen to prevent burn ins, no desktop icons or fixed taskbar, desktop background pic set on slider changing every minute but apart from that is a great laptop nice keyboard, can charge it via usb and keyboard is a pleasure to use, not thinkpad level kb but still good, also very light

Got one with an i9 and a 3050ti about a year ago, it has the pantone validated 2,8k 120hz screen. The hardver is just superb compared to my friends 14 inch m2 pro macbook pro. The only thing to look out for is the build quality. I stored my laptop in a laptop bag, but after about 3 months i noticed that the bacplate cracked, so be careful with how you store/handle yours. Otherwise I think this is one of the best creator devices out there.

Been using this for 1 week and I found some downsides to this laptop. I have tha same model that is being reviewed here. 1. Wifi connectivity - i had to return the first one that I bought coz it wasn't able to connect to my 5G wifi. It was replaced though. With the newly replaced one: I find it not so powerful. I bought another laptop 2 weeks ago: HP 15s. i5 (12th gen), 16G RAM (25k cheaper). I put them side by side on the same spot and the Asus gets only 4 bars while the HP has full 5 bars. 2. Speakers - very soft. Not helpful when I have to do audio transcriptions in my work. I have to use an external speaker esp when the aircon is on. The HP has superb great volume 3. Touch pad - not so sensitive. Sometimes it doesn't respond fast. My old laptop, Lenovo Yoga 520s was more efficient. I'm not a mouse user, so quite frustrating All the other great things mentioned (except for the touch pad) are true to my experience. I'm selling my HP but sometimes when I come across the cons (esp wifi connectivity) in my Asus, it makes me doubt 😊
I have the exact same model too. I confirm the WiFi is sh*t my phone gets better network than my laptop. I also returned the first one and the new replacement had the same issue. I think this is the problem with entry/budget laptops as they don't put quality parts and optimization

It is pretty good for gaming. I have played quite a lot of graphic intensive games, it works. But recommend you have earbuds as the fan noise might mess up your FPS games
Hello, I have it a few weeks ago I have the ryzen 5 what happens to me is that when I use the fan check before starting I hear a small "coil" sound that lasts 1 second and is not heard but when the revs drop and it increases again it happens, it is normal I am worried that it does not affect the components
You dont need higher refresh rate if your goal is just for photo/video editing. But not for gaming especially FPS. This laptop is for professional use, not focused on gaming.

Its an amazing laptop and ive been using it for 4 months so far, however i have had a recent problem with my screen. It seems my graphics card isnt working appropriately and has so far turned off 3 times in the last week, the first two times it was the blue screen, but instead it was scrunched to the top of the screen and the bottom seems to be a glitch, the last time which happened today it wasnt a blue screen but instead the entire screen glitched out. Each time i was either watching youtube or just listening to spotify and writing. Anyone knows why? Also sorry for the long explination and sorry for any mistakes english isnt my first language.
@07laeina sadly, never actually figured it out. Took it to a repair shop and they ended up changing the motherboard. Issue is fixed so I hope you figure your problem out!

I edit 4K now on a desktop running a very old 4th Gen i7 CPU with a GTX 1060 6GB GPU and works well. I assume with the much newer CPU and GPU in this laptop it should be an improvement on what I’m using now. My biggest concern is the limited 4GB of Ram on these RTX 350 cards. I would feel more confident if they had 6 or 8 GB of ram.

I dont know personally on the details but from what ive heard i7 is going to be much better for performance but is very power hungry so battery life may be worse(i think). Ryzen 9 produces i think a tad bit less of performance in comparison with intel but is more battery efficient.

Chech the NTSC for the Asus TUF. it should be 73% to get 100%srgb color accuracy.

That is the sign of a failing GPU. The GPU should last for several years and shouldn't die in a few months. Strange...

I haven't noticed in mine but if it's an issue and still has warranty, bring it back to the shop where you bought it for further testing.

it's the best you can find for that option. the color accuracy specs of this is better on paper than legion 5 and 5pro
i had the lenovo slim 7 and the asus screen is way better, that lenovo had a 300 nits brightness while this one almost doubles that amount
