- Lead House manager Adam Schiff delivered a 25-minute address at the end of formal arguments in President Trump's impeachment trial, urging senators to remove Mr. Trump from office. "If you find that the House has proved its case and still vote to acquit, your name will be tied to his with a cord of steel and for all of history," he said. Watch his remarks.

This is a brilliant expression of hope in our values from a brilliant mind, a man who, it’s obvious, loves this country, this democracy., its institutions, and its history. The Senate will fail, but Adam Schiff and the other House managers, ALL the Democrats, will not fail the Founding Fathers’ intentions, their guidance and their hope, that faith which has moved our country forward in the love of freedom, throughout its history. We always in time attempt to correct the faltering moments. I hope this somehow will be one of those times.

AS THE OLD JUDICIAL SAW GOES: IT'S THE ALLEGATIONS THAT GET YOU TO TRIAL, BUT IT'S THE EVIDENCE THAT KEEPS YOU THERE. MR. SCHIFF MADE A FOOL OF ALL WHO HE ASSURED THAT "TRUMP IS GUILTY". America is dying, we’re in the final years that the U.S.S.R. saw. Once the Democrats get ahold of the presidency and congress then there’s nothing we can do to stop America’s downfall. Open borders create a loss of American identity, non-citizens will vote in our elections, large government programs will continue to make us equally poor, the constitution will be just as valuable as a piece of used toilet paper, the flag will be a hate symbol, guns will be banned, speech against the government will be illegal, pedophilia will be a misdemeanor, etc.

This is one of the best speeches I have ever heard. Whoever wrote this speech deserves a medal. The rhythm, the pacing, the language, the repetition are just perfect and Schiff delivers it perfectly.
I'm not American so I am not partisan in this whole thing, but I applauded this speech because of the craft on show. It should be studied in writing classes to show how good political rhetoric is done.
