    Well every single year you can NEVER predict who the Seahawks are going to pick NEVER EVER, as long as he turns into a Star and quickly then its a good pick and he will start Week 1 without question barring injury, was it the position we all though they should pick No not really but all that matters is he is starting week 1 and playing at a super high level if he does that and continues it for years then we will look back and say Huh that was a good pick.

    What bothers me most is for years, basically the vast majority of the last two decades, Seattle has drafted need first rather than the best player available. They have been harshly treated in the draft ratings for doing so. This year they drafted the best players available rather than reaching for need and they get roundly criticized for doing what they were criticized for NOT doing in previous seasons. Additionally, they now have a legitimate triple-threat wideout group and a great trio of tight ends, plus a premier running back, all young except Lockett and one of the tight ends. They have a trio of young Corners at the elite status and three safeties that can kill it. I don't call this the Legion of Boom 2.0, I call it the Legion of SmashMouth. Their linebacking group is one left-side depth guy from being completed. And I keep hearing "Draft a QB". They extended their starter, they resigned his backup. They don't need an early-round QB. If they draft a QB earlier than round 3 or 4 I will be calling that a horrid pick. Their second round should be Dt/Edge, center, DT/Edge. Tight end for the 4th round. Guard early on day 3 as well.

    These to pics feel super safe... They aren't gambling. They aren't shooting for the stars.
    Just safe. A number 3 receiver on a running team won't make a huge difference.
    A man corner/saftey feels a little strange being that we run mostly zone and the DB room is too full.
    This doesn't address the most effective position for being a running team or beating running teams in the NFC west.
    Last year Pete Carroll said we couldn't match up vs the niners... How do these pics help us compete with them.
    If you want to compete now, then take D-lineman.
    If you want to build for the future, then take a QB.
    These pics don't do either.
    They are safe pics that barely improve this team.
    If you want to win Superbowls you have to gamble.
    These pics show me that the Hawks are content on being a fringe playoff team... Thats it.
    Teams had a full year to witness Gino's strength and weaknesses. This means that tesms will know how to attack him better.
    In my opinion the Hawks have a few rounds to redeem themselves... If they dont pull out a maricle in this draft... They'll be an 8 win team.
    I wish fans would stop stroking John and Pete's ego and see this for what it is, its 2 men who have almost a decade of bad drafts, won't sign star free agents, refuse to use the cap to their advantage and refuse to adapt from old ways of success, even though thier ways of doing things hasn't worked for years.
    If I had one job and i failed at it for 1 year there'd be grace and patients, 2 years maybe some more patients... But, by the 3rd year I'd be fired! So why do we allow a coach and a GM to hang on for 8 years w/o accomplishing the one job they have... To win Super bowls.
    I think Witherspoon and JSN will be good, maybe even great players, but they're not able to save this sinking ship.
    Their positions won't allow them to change much.
    The Seahawks get an F from me for this round.

    • @FeelItRising
      @FeelItRising ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What do you think the chances of him having more catches than DK? Perhaps more TDs too? definitely has chain moving ability and after the catch ability. They will try to move him and motion him a ton in the kupp role

    • @jayclark5034
      @jayclark5034 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You don't waste picks on positions with below average talent.
      They've already improved the D line in free agency, and that was their biggest weakness last year.
      In a relatively weak year for linemen, you make those picks in the later rounds, take the higher talent with your high picks.
      The draft is not a guaranteed improvement if you have stars in your eyes, you have to be realistic.
      They needed depth at WR and CB/S, so those were good solid picks, talented guys

His pro day having 2 months to prepare, he showed up 9 pounds over weight and completely out of shape. Couldn't even finish his drills cause of being out of shape. What does that tell us? He lacks maturity, lacks work ethic, lacks desire to be great, lacks motivation and discipline to put in the work. I don't care how talented a player is, if they don't have a hunger to put in the work to be great, they wont be great. Those type of people end up being all time biggest busts because they were so talented. If Jalen wont put in the work to be in shape before he makes millions of dollars, why would anyone think he would put in the work after he cashes in for millions of dollars.
