Really good review, including valid critiques, that should convince many to start the series. I found your channel going down the rabbit hole of Dresden Files TH-cam reviews because I trying to avoid starting a re-read of the series as long as possible. I'm trying to time my re-read so that I'll finish by the time the next book comes out. With luck, that will be 18 months to two years.
Thanks for dropping by and commenting! By no means a perfect series, but probably my overall favorite for lighter reading. It’s a tough tough road to face a reread of 17+ books (why I made a dedicated Should You Read video), I usually pace myself to every 2-3 years so it doesn’t get stale. As Butcher is back in the saddle and I expect we’ll get a new Dresden Files sometime 2022 id wait until then. Lots of great analysis and interviews on YT (recommend Mikes Book Reviews, Daniel Greene, the Legendarium, and Comic Con Marsters interview Butcher for some great and funny discussions). I’m a little undecided on how much to deep dive the books vs theories and broader topics, if you had to pick which would you prefer?
