I’m in GA too, but Zone 7B in Lawrenceville. That frost killed everything except my Strawberries and garlic. I was devastated!!! Thanks for sharing!!

That cold blast was brutal here in GA. I lost about 2/3 of all of my plants and have no idea how some survived. I'm not getting fooled by this early heatwave so I'm planting more cool weather stuff like carrots, lettuce, kale, spinach, broccoli. Best of luck this year.

Hello. We are building our raised bed enclosed area. We have so many deer that these past few years they have been eating everything. I haven't been able to grow much successfully.
My trouble of when to sow seeds indoors and transplant are my struggles. I also unfortunately don't have much sun which hinders everything. I'm trying with the little that I can get, which is not much.
Deer can be a tough issue. I know they do have some non toxic repellents. With most indoor seed starting it’s important to know your last frost date and work backwards from there. Typically you can start seeds 6-8 weeks before your last frost date, then it should be warm enough for things to go outside.
I’ve been contemplating buying that square tool and you helped justify the purchase. No one I’ve watched has ever explained the guide or the seed spacing…that was helpful. Happy sowing!
