Another tip for you because I’m sure you haven’t given up on more gardening this year. I sure hope not anyway because you were doing amazing!!!!!! Take a paint brush and while the male flowers are open on the pumpkins/squash then rub all in the male flower with the brush. And take it to the female fruiting flower and rub it inside of it. If the pollinators aren’t getting it done you can help some and hopefully get more food ☺️
It’s crazy how much you learn from just starting a garden. I just started mine at the end of July and decided to jump out the window with it. I’ve learned so much in such a short period. It’s so much fun and it’s rewarding seeing the fruit of your labor. But it can be incredibly overwhelming and frustrating when you’re doing everything to care for the plants and they still succumb to pests or disease. Good luck! I’m sure it will all work out.
Thank you!! 💚 I got my seeds from Baker Creek seeds. Love this pepper for the look and history. It was cultivated by a black folk artist named Horace Pippen.
Just letting you know you can eat the leaves of the sweet potato also. Although I wouldn’t eat them if they don’t look well either but I just wanted to let you know. Don’t eat other potato leaves. Only sweet potato. Sweet potato is not the same as other potatoes. Most potatoes are nightshades. Sweet potatoes are not. 🖤
Hey! New sub here! Your channel popped up in my feed. Your garden is so neat and lush. Great job, sis, and i look forward to learning and growing with you
Your garden is so beautiful!!! I would love to see videos on what made you start a garden and how to tips for beginners. I pray to start a garden next year!!
Spider mites were most likely attacking your cucumber leaves. You could use a hydrogen peroxide and water spray to handle them and any fungal diseases. I’m also in GA 8A. Nice looking garden.
@@AlnissaGrows I’m thinking my Fall garden will be much better with cooler weather and less pest pressure. It’s my first year of gardening and I loved every bit. The small harvests and the lessons.

Cucumber beetle may be culprit. Try eight and sticky pads.
Thanks. It could be, I have to be more diligent looking for the pests next year.
Really good video, keep up the great work...
Thanks!
Ok Sis! I see you! Welcome to YT 🙌🏿
Just subscribed to your channel! Thank you!
moved to thia zone recently thanks for the tips!
Happy to help! Thank you for watching!
I'm convinced that the early sunglow is not a stable hybrid! Every year this variety disappoints me. But it could also be me 😂
No you may be onto something! Because there was no reason for my first batch to die. 😂 I’m definitely going to try different varieties next year.
Just subscribed. I'm in Georgia 8A as well! :)
Thank you!! Perfect!
My cucumbers died the exact same death the humidity started it and they spread to my pumpkins and watermelon I’m also in Ga zone 7b/8a 🥰
Hi! 👋🏽 Yes for our zone this was a rough summer. So incredibly hot and humid at times. Then my area got hit with a non-stop of rain at the end. 😣

Very nice! The vine borers are killing all of my squash and zucchini! Ughhh!!!... I'm so sad about that.
Sorry to hear that ☹️ they took one of my pumpkins and one of zucchini as well

I live in Decatur, GA, and have a beautiful garden. However, I struggle with vegetables.
Hi, it’s all trial and error. I still have plants that I struggle with, I hope you keep trying!
Nice!!!
Thank you!
That scream 😂
What do the lemon cucumbers taste like? I’m curious
Not like lemon but they have a mild, slightly sweet taste. I enjoyed them!
Do you plant anything in the fall?
Yes, I’m planning my fall garden now. I’ll post a video about it.
🥰🥰🥰
New sub! You’re in Georgia too!
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing! 💚 and yes! Making it work in this GA heat lol.

Welcome! And Thank you!
Do you have an ant issue in your beds? If so how do you deal with it?
Only when I plant certain things that attract them. Haven’t really figured out how to keep them out yet.
