I think the hate comes from cheap crappy versions of universal socket, the I think orginal version that has hexagonal pins it acctually work surprisingly well. They were stranded on a road side in winter time because the lug wrench was wrong size, they had a spare, and bolts to fit the rim, but wrong size tool so he tried the universal socket and it worked, when the got home he checked the nuts with a proper lug wrench and all were more tight than he normally would tighten them. I acctually have one, that has round pins, but havent tested it out yet, it's not too much convinsing

I bought it around last year while working at a camping site, everything kinda was at end of it's life span so there was plenty of maintenace. That self adjusting wrench and Knipex pliers was the only ones used. (not kinipex I have never heard anyone kinitting a scarf) Missä päin norjaa viljelet? Even the bigger companies are making below-par tools these days. There are people out there who will buy a tool send something back, and get their money back, but what they sent back wasn’t what they bought. What I tend to do lately is to buy a good refurbished older tool as they’re a lot more reliable.
Yeah those Universal Sockets are mostly just there as an "Oh shit, I lost my 10 mm again" type of tool, they don't stand up to use long, but if you don't know where your shit went, it's always a good backup!

When trying to tighten that pvc plug... you notice he never tried a real PIPE WRENCH
So where is the video of you trying to learn how to improperly use them? I want to see that video. All these tools are VERY handy in the right setting.
25:55 imagine how the drill did it that much power to turn it 😂
pretty soon here you will have enough of those useless manscaped things to open your own shop!
The last wrench type is actually good when its made by quality manufacturer. You can add some ugaduka pipes to it and it grips 😅
I have one from 1 to 2 inch sized. It has a spring to close the head and I don't really like it, it's fiddly to use and get around a pipe, but still it never have failed in use. I bought it around last year while working at a camping site, everything kinda was at end of it's life span so there was plenty of maintenace.
That self adjusting wrench and Knipex pliers was the only ones used.
(not kinipex I have never heard anyone kinitting a scarf)
Hey guys want to watch me completely missused tools in a way that they're not intended and then complain about how much they suck?
See, you guys all sit here and roast the guy he is clearly smarter than us cause he gets everyone to comment on the videos and gain more and more traffic, making himself more popular. It's probably an act 😂
No doubt about it, but this is it for me I would rather be watching something more informative
@geraldlevan6754 yea I agree at the least a bit more informative I've been watching him for some time and it seems like every vid he pretends more and more like he doesn't know anything
I used to work in hardware at Home Depot. I never saw a single one of those “universal” sockets sold. Had a few people point it out and make fun of it (some based on their own personal experience clearly), but not a single one came off the shelf.
I have these fireworks called *FLASHBANG Fuseless Firecrackers* Extremely Loud Mandarin Red Cracker Snaps. It would be interesting to try and drive a nail using that contraption with one firecracker between the hammer head and the nail, at the very least it would make a loud as hell bang 💥on contact
Tyler, we gonna need you to test out the Manscaped if you want us to buy it 😜
That would be a messy video... the blood...
The effort you put into this really shows!
"I have more confidence, because it's big enough I can actually see it."
Yeah that checks out.
I feel like "would this save you in a pinch, yes, but don't use it as your only wrench" is fundamental to the concept of an adjustable wrench, isn't it?
i bet the adsense algorithm wet its circuit boards when it realised tyler was putting out a video on that first abomination. i've seen full-on serious tool guys make tiktok dance craze numbers reviewing that travesty. tyler getting his hands on it is going to be epic!
Anything with teeth for bolts might be good for already messed up bolts. Or bolts that you already messed up with the tool
Love the comments always telling me what the tools are actually used for lmao
I'd love to see you review a "robo-grip", it's basically a self measuring c-wrench, hard to explain. I got one for work and it is a phenomenal tool for being mobile.
20:08
Could you please let go of my thing that’s what she said LMAO
Needed to try the pipewrench on pipe, something round. Pipewrenches are supposed to have some slop with the lower jaw.
The universal soket is a very good item. is top for emergency work o fast repairs. u can throw in your car or in your byke and can help sooooo much when needed.
Those two tools at the end are made for gripping rounded bolt heads and are actually very good at it.
Entertaining, like Mr. Bean level entertaining. Silly entertaining….that’s what he’s going for, right? 😅
People: how much torque do you want to put on those plastic pieces? It already makes concerning noises and i think it is closed up more than it should.
Tyler: until I break the plastic and can complain about the useless tool 🤣
I think that pipe wrench got enough grip to close the pipe as intended and everything else is too much 😁
The adjustable ratchet could be good for holding onto a threat cutter bit
I actually have one of those universal bits. I don't use it for hooks.... I use it for bolts, and it works great I love it lol
Worlds greatest troll returns
On the hammer pliers thing you were supposed to use the pliers end to grab it out enough to get the claws under it
No…he’d end up shooting himself or a puppy 🐶.
It's a fencing tool and it's designed to pull "U" shaped nails
Give Tyler a big enough tool, he'll move the -earth- table
my grandfather has the big orange and black one. the science says it works in the same way a pipe wrench. not the best steel, but usable. biggest issue with it is trying to get it to fit anywhere it might be useful
you thighten the pvc the max it could go😂 plus you never go that tight with it bc you risk cracking the pvc😂😂😂
Its "Tool Tester Tyler" review day.
Love youuuu Tyler ❤️❤️
12:14 It's surprising to see that Tyler can't figure out how to use that kind of tool, considering he was a diesel mechanic at one point. With this type of pliers, you must always turn the tip upwards when twisting it towards yourself, that way you can get the best possible grip and avoid the pliers slipping.
Video idea: Test various security screws and ways to remove them. Test some of the official removal bits for them as well
Flip the darn wrench around. You obviously never used a pipe wrench before
He’s absolutely clueless 😂😂
I have a universal bolt drill thing and it's never given me any trouble. Granted I've never used it for little hooks so your milage may vary.
2 videos in one week… I love you
The flange bolt has too small a head to allow the Gator Grip to get a good purchase. That being said, it can't handle really high torque applications.
Tyler should of named this vidoe best tool inventions ever.
Tyler is every how to Facebook post wrapped into one.
Tyler should try his hand at reaction videos like RealPaulJay. That look when the second black wrench went flying. 😆
Great Video Tyler 👌🏻👍🏻✌🏻
