The sleek styling showcases an impeccable sheer line with nine feet of freeboard forward tapering to slightly more than three feet at the stern, a lively reflection of the aggressive profiles of its recent brethren including the 92 and 62 Convertibles. The hull’s sharper entry merges with a higher forward chine designed to divert spray downward when ripping through head seas.
Convex hull sections add curvature and form to the refined running surface, while a quad of molded running strakes accentuates lateral tracking and maneuverability. Tumblehome at the corners of the curved transom adds definition and beauty. Family fisher or for hanging with the boys. I got my start in yachting on Vikings and Bertrams. Vikings are just special. Powerful, refined, and versatile. I crewed for a family that lived on their Viking 70 down in the Bahamas. Awesome boats.

@@alex-ee3st I love Riviera, but they weren't a thing way back then. I remember seeing my first Riviera back in 93 I think and they had the 40' aft cabin. It was so nice and laid out so well. Then for a while everyone called them more refined Vikings and they looked like that. The last one I was on was the 64' SUV. One of the best boats out there. The 62(?) sports though is just as nice. Intelligent design and the materials are done so well. Mikkelsen was another one that makes great boats for fishing. Check them out too

I love these big and powerful Vikings. The layout with an emphasis on the galley as a working and social space is my favorite aspect of these beasts. Muscle and luxury. $250,000 refit on the helm alone? Who owns these things? Nobody on my street that's for sure!
