I’m also so excited for Red Scrolls of Magic! I’m feeling so beyond grateful for all the Shadowhunters stories coming our way this year. As you said, I’m so glad she is still adding to this world. It’s amazing. I hadn’t heard of Wicked Saints but it sounds so interesting! So does Sorcery of Thorns! So does The Beholder! Ahh so many good things to look forward to! Thanks for putting all this great info together and for sneaking two more in and the end =D
So many of my most anticipated fantasy releases were mentioned! I'm especially looking forward to King of Scars, The Gilded Wolves, and Red Scrolls of Magic. Also hearing you talk about The Beautiful has me so intrigued! I've only read one of her novels and didn't love it (and I'm always a little wary of books set in New Orleans by authors who aren't from here), but the premise has me hooked, haha. Definitely will pick that one up in the fall!
FINALE'S COVER IS SO GORGEOUS! You mentioned so many of the same books I'm excited about too! My anticipated release shelf for 2019 is over 100. 2019 is KILLIN' it
the wicked king is definetly my most anticipated book! and righ under it in my list is probably a curse so dark and lonely! sooo many books with amazing synopsis are comng out ughh i am so excited
I can't bloody wait to read Wicked King and King of Scars,, the new book by Erin Morgenstern, the next book in the Wax and Wayne book in the second Mistborn series should come out next year... and of cours Stain by A.G. Howard... all the books you mentioned sound absolutely amazing!!! i feel like 2019 is a great year for books!!!
I may or may not have laughed out loud when I saw your sweater... because we have the same exact one. (Clearly, we have good taste.) Obviously, I 100% agree about The Wicked King! I can’t wait to get a finished copy of that one. And I’m excited that we’re both really into The Gilded Wolves so far, and hopefully, we continue to love it! King of Scars is one of my most highly anticipated 2019 releases, mostly because (as you know), Nikolai is my one true Grishaverse love 😍 And pretty much every single one of the books on your list is also on mine so... I foresee a lot of (hopefully) excellent reading in our future! Also, Priory may actually kill us. Literally. If it falls off a high enough shelf... And The Red Scrolls of Magic will probably kill me with feels. Magnus and Alec, one of my OTPs 😍
all of those books look great, and i definitely need to check them out at some point after they've released! one of the books i'm most looking forward to next year is a debut novel from an author i follow on Wattpad. the user is Pandean, and her novel White Stag is coming out next month on the 9th i believe. though i've not read the version on Wattpad, i'm looking forward to picking up the published book next year when i have the money for it.
I just finished my ARC of The Wicked King and I absolutely loved it!! I don’t see how I can wait a year for the next one😭 But I am also super excited for King of Scars, Finale, and Cassandra Clare’s new book!
I was just thinking "Wow there's only a couple of things I want to preorder for 2019." Thanks for fixing that 🤣🤣🤣 You are totally right. The covers are KILLING it for 2019!
So many great books coming out in 2019! Some ones that I’m looking forward to that you didn’t mention: Crown of Feathers by Nicki Pau Preto (Feb) Warrior of the Wild by Tricia Levenseller (Feb) Sky Without Stars by Jessica Brody & Joanne Rendell (March) Immunity by Erin Bowman (July) Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo (October) Also Dark Dawn by Jay Kristoff
I'm also looking forward to some of those! It was so tough to narrow down my list lol! And video spoiler, but Ninth House is in my most anticipated contemporary / thriller video!
I don't even read a ton of fantasy, but I have so many fantasies I'm excited for next year! Omg, I'm so ready for The Wicked King to be out so more people can suffer with us. I already have Gilded Wolves and King of Scars preordered because I'm going to author events for them, and I can't wait! Planning on reading Enchantee this month-- excited about it, but I've also heard mixed things so I'm lowkey a lil nervous. I NEEEEEED more Shadowhunters content, and 2019 is gonna bless us with Red Scrolls and Chain of Gold (and the bindup of Ghosts of the Shadow Market!). PLUS, I heard we're gonna get Aline and Helen's love story in the Eldest Curses series, and my heart needs that. I haven't even read The Night Circus (oops), but The Starless Sea sounds SO good. other fantasies I'm excited for next year: Gods of Jade and Shadow by Silvia Garcia Morenes, Reverie by Ryan la Sala, and the first Threads of Power book!!
The priory of the orange tree is my most anticipated book of 2019, i love fantasy and a woman center fantasy is what we need :) plus i love the look of big book :)
I met Anna Bright (Beholder author) and she is sooooo sweet!!! I loved seeing her book in ur video, and I hope she gets a ton of support for her first novel! P.S. I also do Upcoming Release videos at the beginning of every month on my channel if anyone's interested
Be sure to check out my new sci-fi/fantasy book Brimstone's Knight by W. Wright, release date January 31st, Austin Macauley Publishers. I posted a short intro video on my channel. Or simply search "Brimstone's Knight" and you'll find it.

I hope you found something new to be excited about!!
When I heard Erin is bringing a new book I jumped the band wagon!
