Seems like Sophie is a popular character name in 2019!! I feel like you named at least 3 books with the name Sophie!! So many great releases coming this new year!!!!
I’m honestly so glad I found your channel, it made me feel less weird about being 25 and reading YA Contemporary because those books are my crack. Helps remind me that everyone needs a little extra happy in their lives and books are for everyone no matter what genre. PS you totally remind me of Holly from King of Queens, you could totally go into tv if you wanted to!
I just want to tell you that I absolutely love your channel. You inspire me so much. I really want to make a booktube too but I've only just this year started getting really REALLY into reading books. Thank you for keeping me up to date on everything book-related! Keep up the amazing work! ❤
YESSS to Slayer!! Girllll you know I am all over it. Like you, it was my first ever obsession and I can already feel tears in my eyes thinking about revisiting that world. I just get so nostalgic and emotional anytime I re-watch the series and I can't wait to have Slayer on my shelf. Also, LOVE your earrings!
I told myself I wasn’t going to buy many books next year but now that’s out the window, you make all these books sound so good. I’m so excited for 99 percent mine. Hopefully one day she will do a sequel to the hating game.
Love the look of your videos, especially this one. The lighting, your hair/makeup, and the background look great! I agree with you on Cassandra Clare books. That cover is so beautiful though! I’m 35 and have moved on (mostly) from YA. Although I’m very excited for The Wicked King and Crescent City.
Love your hair! I’m also looking forward to 99 Percent Mine, Fame Fate and the First Kiss, The Bride Test, Maybe This Time, and The Toll (give me all the fluff plus that one Neal Schusterman lol).
Thanks for all the reading suggestions. I found your channel this year and you’ve really inspired me to get back into reading. I am also a stay at home mom of a (almost) 4 year old boy so haven’t found much time to read the last few years. I have to add that you look great in this video. I love your sweater, hair, makeup, and earrings.
This is an amazing list! Thanks a lot, now I’m going to have to step up my reading game this year to fit it all in LOL! And yessssss vampires need to make a comeback!
I’m excited for a lot of these! To add to the list is the new Angie Thomas book coming out in February called On The Come Up. Also Let’s Call it Doomsday by Katie Henry in August. She wrote Heretics Anonymous which was one of my favorite books of 2018 & I really enjoyed her writing!
Loved your list! I’ll be checking out most of the ones you mentioned because I’ve found you and I have similar reading taste. Thanks for sharing. Have a good day!
Thank you for sharing! I can't wait for Book Love by Debbie Tung to come out on Jan. 1st! It's a graphic novel about being a reader and loving books. Also excited for Daisy Jones and The Toll. I need The Toll!!
I have an arc of Four Dead Queens, I Owe You One, and Again, But Better that I need to get to before they come out. I’m also looking forward to the Sarah Dessen book as I love her books so much. The Bride Test looks super cute. I’m hoping to get more out of my reading slump this coming year which will be hard since I’ll probably be starting college.
@@momoghani3282 yes, but I checked and April 18 2020 in not a Tuesday as usual, so I'm hoping it's a mistake and it's actually 2019 (it's not a Tuesday either so I don't know). I don't know how I can wait until 2020 =/
@@tillthestarsevaporate She's still working on the draft so I don't see how it can go through every phase of editing plus packaging for a 2019 release. I can see early 2020.
I love your hair in this video :O It's so beautiful and elegant. I'm waiting for Starlight by Brandon Sanderson; The Wicked King by Holly Black; Famous in a Small Town - Emma Mills, Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell and so on
I can’t wait to get to Slayer and I hope we both like An Anonymous Girl it sounds cool! I have A Curse so Dark and Lonely too! Lots to look forward too! One of my most anticipated reads is Dangerous Collaboration by Deanna Raybourn (Veronica Speedwell #4)! Love this series!
Heather the series The Cruel Prince is a part of is called the Folk of the Air trilogy. 😊 Did you know that Leigh Bardugo has her first adult novel called ‘Ninth House’ coming out in October?
I'm anticipating In an Absent Dream (Wayward Children #4), Two Can Keep a Secret, The Kingdom of Copper (sequel to City of Brass), The Winter of the Witch (The Bear and the Nightingale series), The Priory of the Orange Tree... and definitely Children of Virtue and Vengeance! ❤ There are tons of continuations of series released in 2019 that I haven't even started yet.
I like some contemporary , a handful a year, but Christine Riccio's sounds good. I loved one called We Can't Be Friends , it made me angry and emotional, not usually my thing , but the story is the proof at the end. I do like to know about different genres though I'd hate to miss on a true diamond. A Hundred Small Lessons was really warm and sweet, not usually my choice, but it surprised me. Happy Holidays
I’m anticipating a lot of the same! I’m also excited for Finale by Stephanie Garber, the last of the Caraval trilogy. And Erin Morganstern has one coming out in November I think that I will be preordering as soon as I humanly can! It’s called the Starless Sea, I think.
Slayer! I need that book! Also, why is Serious Moonlight not about David Bowie? He had a Serious Moonlight tour. I think there should be more books about David Bowie.
I received an Arc of The Girls at 17 Swann Street, from a goodreads giveaway! It was so well and thoughfully done. I think so many people are going to enjoy this novel!
I have read all Rainbow Rowell except for Carry on too! I didn't like Fangirl so I'm afraid to read Carry on. But maybe I will like it since I read Fangirl I have read 6 harry potter books so maybe I will like Carry-on.
The girls at seventeen Swann sounds interesting and I might pre-order it. I find it interesting and accurate that the author has the character eating six meals a day because when I was in treatment for my eating disorder we had to eat six meals. Three meals and three snacks.
FYI An Ember in the Ashes doesn't come out on April 18th 2019, I tweeted the author and she said it wasn't true, so I'm just going to assume it releases on 2020 (creating a 2 year gap) like they did with a Reaper at the Gates
OMG Heather you mentioned "one day in December" so many times that I decided to read it and so far I'm in the middle of the book and I can not put it down which suprises me because normally I read dystopian/fantasy YA books. I will definitely check out some of your recommendations for 2019! But as soon as I will be done with ODID I plan to read "Dry". Have you read it or you have it on TBR?

I tried two of them, including Evelyn Hugo and I didn't enjoy them. I know! unpopular opinion, right? anyways, have a good day, and happy reading!
Ah yes, Xtine's book. I hope it's good. If it isn't, there'll be lots of silence from bigger booktubers who talk about YA books (a few will still give positive reviews). They don't wanna be seen/tearing down the Queen. Ok not the greatest poetry. Some smaller booktubers will give this new book 1 1/2 or 2. Yes, if it's good, everybody & their aunt will be leaping at the chance to praise it, again, but better. :-) Theoretically HP4 GoF Illus. ed. comes out Oct. '19, after a year delay. Sounds interesting...if it indeed shows its face.
I love your videos and would be honored if you check out a book I wrote on Amazon called "Such unfortunates" by Andrew Mann. It's a true story and it will blow you away!
Just read your book and it was literally one of the best books I have ever read in my life! Your story was amazing and powerful. I have never felt so many emotions while reading a book, it will definitely save lives!
