The crystal was a source of power. Because of that after the dragon dyes it revived it. The crystal that felow gave the shield hero was a smaller piece of the much larger one felow ate.

You should watch that series sometime, it's an old giant robot show, but it's got a lot of drama and romance!
It's got a lot of 'heart' to it. Plus the side characters get to do their own things from time to time, instead of being cheerleaders.
This reminds me of how Naruto went Kyuubi against Orochimaru, and Sakura got burned by his tails - they had the same problem of burns being tainted with evil magic.

@@dylanleff373 Same for Naruto with Naofumi lol. These matches aren't anything alike. Sakura is useless, while Raphtalia is useful. Naofumi is pessimistic while Naruto is optimistic!
