Name back then was Yozze ,Tauren warrior . Refreshing to see TF still grabbing some attention. Back in my days there were just rumors about the sword...and some leaked infos on IIrc channels and very few forums...we didn't believe it existed xd
just did a run thru Molten Core with my 50 paladin, got both bindings on the single run, did not expect that at all so guess I'll go get Thunderfury for him - was looking for the eye of Ragnoros for the Sulfuron Hammer cause I've never had that legendary (already have Thunderfury on my warrior, Dragonwrath staff on my warlock. would love to get Shadowmourne on my deathknight and most of the way thru it, just need blood infusion and whatever past that)

3 years, 3 fucking years, I watched this video it had around a month of being out on youtube loved it it was a perfect guide, but for those trying to get the blessings I wish you nothing but luck its 100% RNJesus so may he bless your souls and boost your lucky status (Like he blessed me in other farms but not on this one) finnally I got it after 3 years of weekly farming in 2 characters that got the 1st blessing kinda 3 months into running molten core, PLUS I got the full judgment set so thats also a great thing
So I just came back after a long break after getting green fire/Black Harvest and Cmode golds in MOP back to back on two separate characters (when they were brand new and very challenging) and got so burnt out that I just quit for 7 years. Leveled all my characters to 60 last month and just 5 minutes ago I logged into my warlock who I hadn't played in forever...lo and behold he has both Thunderfury bindings in his bank lmao. And my lucky day because there were 10 bars on the AH for a steal too. About to go kill Thunderaan right now I am so excited i finally have a TF!

got the right binding years and years and years ago. decided to start the questline now before shadowlands, lets see how long it takes to get the left binding.
So I got one of the bindings, I think left side. But I do have a question. Do I HAVE to begin the quest with that one half or can I wait to get both halves and then go to Silithus? Does it make any difference as to the order of how I do this? Any differences in drop percentages for the other half by starting OR not starting the quest or what? I would really like to know. Thanks.
@@TylerMods12 I got the second binding yesterday without starting the quest...so yes you can get both that way. As far as percentages, I doubt it makes any difference.
So the NPC also appears on the BFA map version and you can pick up the quest from him as well. Is there a difference as in Prince Thunderaan's level (the boss that drops the sword) if you pick up the quest from the 120 level NPC version?, how about the sword itself?, or just anything at all? Just checking since I don't want to end up fighting a fucking 120 elite version of the boss with 20 million hp by myself.
Is it possible for other players to "ninja" aggro Thunderaan once he spawns and ruin all your hard work, or is he phased to each player/always allows the quest completer to loot?
I got both bindings first two weeks on my warlock farming the tmog set. I'mm about to do the quest now, I hope this thing is tmoggable on all my toons...
@@UncoolShrimp yes! I feel very lucky that it only took 2 weeks to get thunderfury and I only had to buy a couple of mats since I still had a good amount of them in storage from vanilla lol I knew they’d come in handy some day!
Very easy Lego mog to farm. I made 5 demon hunters for various farms and I ran garr and Baron every week for 3 weeks on all toons til 1 got the binding. Just takes 30ish mins to run all 12 of my viable users.
Can you tmog a tmoggable weapon to that? Or do you just get it now for shock value? Cause I’m on my Warrior(Fury Spec) and I’m thinking about dual wielding 1H weapons instead of 2H.

Any idea what classes the bindings can drop on? Or does it not matter? Wondering if it was worth running on my mage as well as my warriors and paladins?
I believe they are only usable by Warriors, Hunters, Paladins and Rogues, to obtain Thunderfury, so I wouldn't risk getting them on a Mage only to find out you can't do the quest

nah, u can just chill until u get both bindings, starting the quest wont effect the drop on the next binding

I’ve been trying to get this weapon on my Paladin for 3 years now. I have everything except one binding.
Do you have to have something unlocked for quest? I'm going through dialog in correct time and no quest.

Emil Jørgensen as long as something becomes soul bound, you get the transmog, so it should work
But I don’t own any legendarys so I’m not sure

i think they buffed the drop due to the fact we can xmog it now, got 1 on first attempt

You'd still need both bindings to complete the quest, but after yes you can now tmog them
