Saw a gif lately where Grunt fell in the background window at the Hospital from the Citadel DLC...took a deep breath and started a whole new campaign from ME1LE.
I’m on my first play through of the ME series , got through part 1 , geez that was a grind , just coming from a AAA game like GOW ragnarok , to mass effect 1 was a bit of a difference😅 but overall enjoyed it ! I’ve just gotten to ME 2 and met back up with tali on that planet ‘ But my question to you is …. Who’s the best romance option in ME2 ? 😏 lollllllll I had liara as mine in the first game , but I want a human now 🤣🤣
@@getspun6961 Ha ME1 could feel rather slow yes, but in LE the gameplay luckily has been much improved. I would say for a very first, never played before, romance route stay with Liara for all three games for as well FemShep as DudeShep. Solid choice. She will be available again during the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC in ME2 and in ME3. And you can always flirt away with Kelly ofc. Personally for FemShep I didn't enjoy the human romances in 1 and 2 but in 3 Traynor is fun! For DudeShep, Jack is a very solid choice for 2 and 3! Too bad she has just a small role in 3 (same with Miranda). Overall with aliens, there is the online battle between Tali and Liara for dudeShep as best girl. And for femShep Liara, Thane (no experience myself) and Garrus (best friend ever disregard if you romance him or not! And I think the romance is quite funny). "It's just my opinion, though. There's really no need to go spreading it around" - Joker.
On my first playthrough of ME3 when it was released, I didn't actually bother getting the Citadel DLC, as it honestly sounded silly to me at the time. It was a video of that conversation with Grunt that made me realise just how much I'd missed out on, and it's now my favourite part of the trilogy. "I love you Grunt" "Heeeeh heh heh heh"
The year is 2023 and I am playing Mass Effect for the first time on my PS5 in 4K with the LE. I HAVE BEEN LIVING UNDER A FUCKING ROCK MAN THIS GAME SERIES IS INCREDIBLE!!
They say gamble addiction is dangerous. That won’t stay true when they see the ME:LE addiction. Once your in, your never out. Welcome to Mass effect my friend, my comrade XD
That’s how I felt when I bought the legendary edition in 2021 a few months after it released. I was thinking how the HELL have I never played this game in the Xbox 360 days? One of the best video games ever made. Have you played the whole trilogy already?
I remember when I first discovered the series less than 5 years ago. I'll give the same bit that someone gave me: a paragon fem shep play through is borderline a different series from a renegade bro shep playthrough. Don't look up guides on how to do things, it will ruin the adventure for you. I speak from experience on that.
@@La_gangsta dude you actually spoke the truth lmfao. I have been so addicted to the entire trilogy that i did, in the last two weeks, both a renegade run (where i picked the control ending as a mistake) and right after it a full paragon run to get 7800+ war assets in order to have the perfect destroy endings. Liara: "We've been through a lot, haven't we? But it has been a good ride" Shepard: "The best" One of the best trilogy i've ever played. It's not even a game, it's a freakin interactive show, as Martin Sheen (TIM's voice actor) said.
Here's how I'd rank the endings 1. Destroy: The reapers aren't a threat anymore atleast, Shepard achieves his goal that he had from the start which was elimating the threat of the reapers. Now civilizations have a chance to become more advanced than ever before. Yes the crucible mentioned that synthetic life will be a threat in the future, but Shepard demonstrated already that there is still hope that organics and synthetic life can live among eachother 2. Synthesis: Basically means we all join and become the same. Organics become more synthetic, but synthetics become more organic. But this doesn't take away from the fact that the reapers are still a huge threat. Just because we're not 100% organic anymore and we're the same as the Reapers wouldn't change the power dynamic. Think about it, how do humans treat weaker species? Like livestock. What is stopping the Reapers from treating us the same? It isn't even completely explained what will happen to the reapers. Whats stopping them from taking over? They aren't even 100% synthetic anymore right? It's to risky. And it's forcing something on the entire galaxy. 3. Control: In this ending Shepard lives on through the Reapers and controls them forever (or atleast until the Reapers are destroyed). Could you really trust one person, even Shepard, with all that power though? The real problem is that the reapers/Shepard are now policing over everyone. It's not free will if you're forced to live a certain way your whole life. There is nothing stopping him from doing whatever he/the Shepard reapers want and nothing stopping them from killing whatever is in the way of the ideals that Shepard had. Nothing to question it either. I could see it turning into a monarchy even. Again to risky. 4. Fucking over the galaxy: Of course this is the worst ending. This basically means your just giving up hope for anything better than being harvested by the Reapers, and the cycle lives on. Your just killing the entire species of the Humans, Salarians, Asari, Turians, Krogan. Everyone in the mass effect game will be killed, and nothing will change. It's just massive genocide.

Funny enough this video actually made me wanna try it. 14 days later i have finished my first playthrough of this masterpiece of a trilogy. I genuinely cannot express how much i love mass effect now. Thank you so much for making this because without it i may have never even tried it out.
So true bro. Ever since I beat the trilogy I just can't get it out of my head, even if I'm playing a game or watching something that has nothing to do with space there'll be something in it that will remind me and one part of my brain will go like "Let's play them again" and the other will be like "last time you spent 300 hours on one playthrough, we're not doing that again."
I'm glad someone else feels what I feel. The last 2 months I've beaten the trilogy twice. I started the second playthrough like 2 days after the other. AND I WANT TO START MY THIRD PLAYTHROUGH! AND I'VE ALREADY BEATEN THE GAMES LIKE 3 TIMES BEFORE THE LEGENDARY EDITION 😂
The first mass effect (2007). Has the most memorable character entry. The music, Normandy, Shepard. It's like we're about to go on some grand adventure like never before. And it's all true. I miss the experience of this. I hope someday there's a game that can give me this kind of feeling.

I used to love listening to the soundtrack in hs during Spanish class but i quickly realized it made me miss each game and when they came out and being a child again. Then leg edition came out and I ended up playing it nonstop
I played Mass Effect 1 after enjoying KOTOR and it was such a game changer for shooters, I vividly remember my first time in so many areas. I never got to play the others as they came out because we were always hurting for money and there was always other cool games that we wanted. But lo and behold, they did the best thing they could ever do and remastered them all and included all DLC and other improvements with the legendary edition. All of that in less than $20 on sale, it was steal. Now I'm here going through it because all my beloved squad mates are falling left and right
@JoeMama-lq1dt Andromeda would have been so much better if Alec were the main character, not one of his kids. Alec had that Shepard vibe to his personality.

Ever since a certain mouse bastardized the galaxy far far away, I’ve been looking for another sci fi world to sink my teeth into Mass Effect has fit the bill beautifully
On my 3rd play through of the trilogy. Can’t get enough of it. So many options, so many different classes. Hope they make one last mass effect with Shepard, to save the galaxy one last time
This happened to me when I realized I was 2 achievements off from getting a platinum... I don't actively hunt for achievements buuut Mass effect pulled me back.
I’m about to start my 30th mass effect run on legendary edition. Trying to go for all the achievements this time around. Also going to mess around with some mods to see how that goes.
this is sooooo true. since release i played 2000h or so. and the weirdest shit is, i only did one renegade playthrough. I cried while watching the official community tribute when the LE was announced. No one in my friend group like mass effect :(

Facts. I asked myself why am I playing this game again? And then a few hours later I started Mass Effect one legendary edition. I even had my Brother called me and asked why do you keep playing Mass Effect? My response was why aren’t you playing it?
Oof. Reminds me of people who’s first fallout game was 4. It’s a fine game, but you had no idea how amazing the franchise was until you stepped back. Glad you got around the LE. :)

It's truly amazing to find out everyone else feels just as I do. Mass Effect doesnt end, it lives with you, always on the back of your mind, waiting for the slightest trigger, whether its a sample of its soundtrack or a meme to be heard in order to bring you back to first think about it for an hour and then finally deciding to go for yet another playthrough...(and most likely make the exact same choices lol)
Anybody else think mass effect 3 is the best one? That final battle cinematic with all the species joining together to take down the reapers made recruiting them all worth it
Some elements of ME 3 make it the logical choice to be the GOAT -- the Citadel dlc, seeing many obscure characters from 1 and 2 returning to join your war assets or help you gain allies, the battle at the end, seeing everyone one last time....but personally I'll always feel that ME 2 is the greatest game ever created. 👍🏻
Got about ten hours into Veilguard and one of the “angry” dialogue responses was, “Heyyy! We’re doing our best here, ya know?!” Immediately started a NG+ of my Renegade FemShep. Pour some out (16 times) for Zhu’s Hope…
After years of watching my Dad play them as a kid when ME1 first came out. I finally got my own copy through the legendary edition.. such nostalgia and the excitement in his eyes when I told him about it. I remember watching him go against the geth and reapers.. now it’s my turn
I started playing back during quarantine in 2020. I had the first game but never played through it until I saw the other two were on game pass with EA play. I have played through each game roughly 6 times since and Mass Effect 2 has become one of my favorite games ever.

I used to love listening to the soundtrack in hs during Spanish class but i quickly realized it made me miss each game and when they came out and being a child again. Then leg edition came out and I ended up playing it nonstop
Ime 17, ive played mass effect consistantly since i was 3, this game is my life
Commander, another colony needs your help. I'll mark it on the galaxy map. Hackett out.
The game come back like a collector and thx game, Im flying in the space of nostalgia now :,))
I played Mass Effect 1 after enjoying KOTOR and it was such a game changer for shooters, I vividly remember my first time in so many areas. I never got to play the others as they came out because we were always hurting for money and there was always other cool games that we wanted. But lo and behold, they did the best thing they could ever do and remastered them all and included all DLC and other improvements with the legendary edition. All of that in less than $20 on sale, it was steal. Now I'm here going through it because all my beloved squad mates are falling left and right
Currently playing Andromeda while MA3 watches me from the corner.
Mass "Affect" ?
@Joe Mama i actually liked it a bit idk why. But yeah the trio is just to legendary
@JoeMama-lq1dt Andromeda would have been so much better if Alec were the main character, not one of his kids. Alec had that Shepard vibe to his personality.
I really liked ME: Andromeda!
@@Commodore22345no it would of been so much better if they didn't make the open world planets so painfully boring with next to no interesting quests to find
I bought the trilogy on PC and I just started my first ever playthrough. I've only got like 6 hours of playtime so far but I'm loving it. I wish I would've played it when it first came out because I already know it would've been a core childhood memory.
Being a mass effect fan is both a blessing and a curse.
Currently in the middle of Mass Effect 2. This will have been my 17th time through the trilogy.
Impressive, I thought I was hardcore after 6 playthroughs, man you're on another level 😂✌🏻
I swear! I get the itchy feeling to play MELA every few months
They say every 50,000 thousand years A Hero Wakes Up…And That Hero Is Me
Ever since a certain mouse bastardized the galaxy far far away, I’ve been looking for another sci fi world to sink my teeth into
Mass Effect has fit the bill beautifully
*Mass Effect Andromeda walks into the room*
No one in my friend group like mass effect :(
Just finished my 3rd playthrough of the series and got all 3 platinums. Can never get tired of this trilogy.
I’ll always came back to the game for Tali 😂
Started my second playthrough now its my favorite game series for now with fallout just love it story is like nothing else
No matter the scars you bear,
Or whatever uniform you wear,
You could fight like a krogan,
You could run like a leopard,
But you'll never be better
Than Commander Shepard!
Playing it for the first time and currently on ME 2, what a wonderful experience so far
I stg it happens every time. I just scroll through my game library and it’s just sitting there MENACINGLY.
Time to check on Garrus and his callibrations!
Tell me about it. I've lost count on just how many playthroughs I've done now, and yet... I don't get bored.
Same I did at least 4 play throughs on each Xbox system and recently started a new play through the day the game
Became free
Same
Mass Effect will never get old, I 100% the trilogy on PS3, X360, PS4 Xbox1, and almost finished with PS5 and Xbox X...that's just how much I appreciate them. They got me through some dark times on PS3/360...
Me trying to put time into Hogwarts after I pre-ordered the deluxe edition but that last unfinished ME playthrough is calling my name
I started with the legendary edition. And i love this Game
1000% on the spot LMAO!
Me: Plays another game
Also me: Sees clip of Miranda
*sigh*
This is too relatable 😂
Right now it's on discount on steam and it's an amazing trilogy
Facts. I asked myself why am I playing this game again? And then a few hours later I started Mass Effect one legendary edition. I even had my Brother called me and asked why do you keep playing Mass Effect? My response was why aren’t you playing it?
Like Reaper slaves, we've all been indoctrinated by Mass Effect. The "trigger word" is 5 seconds of literal any OST from the trilogy
Doesn't matter how many times I finish the trilogy, it keeps pulling me back in like a cartoon character being strung along by the scent of fresh pie.
Still get sad every time it ends too
It's 2024 and I just played Mass effect 1 for the very first time. I'm hooked now and ready for mass effect 2
Andromeda was the first ME game I finished & i loved it so much i got the legendary edition. Literally fcking phenomenal....
Oof. Reminds me of people who’s first fallout game was 4. It’s a fine game, but you had no idea how amazing the franchise was until you stepped back. Glad you got around the LE. :)
@@KaitoGillscale I played ME2 when i was pretty much a kid on xbox360 for a little but could never get into it, that was roughly around the time it came out. I was young & didnt remember much
@@Wabbajock_Dugatti i was lucky enough to start Mass Effect 1 about 3 months before 2 came out, so I was unable great position to just get hooked immediately. 1-3 are probably my favorite games of all time.
That’s literally the short that made me start mass effect.😂
I just finished the legendary edition and got the platinum trophy for all 3 games 3 days ago. Haven't been able to play another game for 10 minutes since 😂
It's truly amazing to find out everyone else feels just as I do.
Mass Effect doesnt end, it lives with you, always on the back of your mind, waiting for the slightest trigger, whether its a sample of its soundtrack or a meme to be heard in order to bring you back to first think about it for an hour and then finally deciding to go for yet another playthrough...(and most likely make the exact same choices lol)
yeah literally no game will ever beat or be as satisfying as mass effect. it's ruined other games for me😭😭😭😭
Anybody else think mass effect 3 is the best one? That final battle cinematic with all the species joining together to take down the reapers made recruiting them all worth it
Some elements of ME 3 make it the logical choice to be the GOAT -- the Citadel dlc, seeing many obscure characters from 1 and 2 returning to join your war assets or help you gain allies, the battle at the end, seeing everyone one last time....but personally I'll always feel that ME 2 is the greatest game ever created. 👍🏻
I suffer from this every day
it's literally the best gaming trilogy ever made. The only other game that does this to me is VTM:Bloodlines.
Ha ha Just now I'm playing for the umpteenth time.
And rightly so!
Every year for christmas, i play through all 3 games… never fails to make me cry
I feel attacked 🤣
I do too
Got about ten hours into Veilguard and one of the “angry” dialogue responses was, “Heyyy! We’re doing our best here, ya know?!”
Immediately started a NG+ of my Renegade FemShep. Pour some out (16 times) for Zhu’s Hope…
I just got legendary edition for my series S a few weeks back, im addicted to the series now, such a good series
As an artist who stayed up all night to draw a design of her custom shepard, then immediately play ME1 to completion I feel attacted
*attacked
After years of watching my Dad play them as a kid when ME1 first came out. I finally got my own copy through the legendary edition.. such nostalgia and the excitement in his eyes when I told him about it.
I remember watching him go against the geth and reapers.. now it’s my turn
You tried to play other games, and where did it bring you?
Back to me
🤣
Its like a 90 hour movie that I cant stop re-watching. Its so good.
Let’s be honest the real crime of being a ME fan is having the game on steam, and not being able to play it because of EA’s Shitty app.
I survived the suicide mission with no casualties is one my favorite flexes 😂😂
This made me load it up right now. Thank you.
Merry Christmas! God Jul!!
Doing my yearly mass effect trilogy playthrough
That OST speaks to me
It's so true, I've played so many times and it never gets boring
Just got Legendary Edition last year. Have already did three complete campaigns. I love Mass Effect!❤
I started playing back during quarantine in 2020. I had the first game but never played through it until I saw the other two were on game pass with EA play. I have played through each game roughly 6 times since and Mass Effect 2 has become one of my favorite games ever.
I like that this shows up right when I started playing the first game.
It’s a good series to run through every few years I’m a Renegade for life pushing mercs through window’s punching reporters, and doing my part for the GALAXY
I've been on a Mass Effect nostalgia kick but playing Starfield atm and lots of other new games on my list. This vid short sums it up 100%
