Zaparozia has a nice mission tree in EU expanded, and unlike in anti bellum, you can form Russia by culture swapping. Really fun. My parents are from the area so also my favorite nation to play.
@@darkphoenix2745 yeah kind of but their mission tree sucks. I like massive trees otherwise I get bored. It’s why I almost exclusively play eu expanded
i remember when the government powers were even more busted than this because the ratio of cav to inf it spawned was much more skewed towards cav Incredibly fun game nonetheless EDIT: seems you didnt even realize, but the raise cossack hosts mechanic spawns cossack regiments if you have special unit force limit left. Its stupidly overpowered. I recommend stacking cav cost reduction, as you can get to -75% ish easily
OMS Literally a broken nation I remember playing it once in mp bc a friend recommended me playing and I succeed to have +100% Cav Combat Ability and my armies were invicible, I could have beat up everyone's armies. Even my friend have admitted I would have beaten him up Really I'm so glad you chose this nation!!! :)
@@GolemEnt there is an event that lets you become sich rada as Zaparozhiye. You can also trigger a Lithuanian disaster event where you get independence as Sich Rada Cossak nation but with random flag/colors
Don't know yet if this is mentioned in the video but in Ante Bellum if you embrace Nationalism institution as the Hetmanate you can rename you country to Ukraine
As a Ukrainian, I’m honestly disappointed in EU4 representation of Ukraine, the kozaks are represented as some horde, and although they were known in the Napoleonic wars as horseman soldiers, in the earlier struggles for independence in the 17th century the Cossack army was mainly constituted of infantry, usually relying on it’s ally, the Crimean Khanate, for the cavalry. I also really hate that paradox still can’t give separate mission for Ukrainian principalities and for Zaporizhia, which should have been done long time ago since Zaporizhia is very loved

What? I thought Zaporozhie is one of the two (or three if You count a Ladonia assuming it has Ruthenian/Ukrainian as it's primary culture) Russian unification candidates that have the SPECIAL mission trees dedicated to these specific countries

Oh man, these Hetmanate national ideas are absolutely broken; also, very nice flag and colour! Amazing run, as always 😍
Thanks for the great video 😊

Try Ante bellum with the Lost world submod it's insane
What nation do you recommend for Lost Worlds?
@@IronWolf123 Byzantium, Asturias, Wales, Arghukanid, zoroastrian turcs, Nicea, and Capua
I was looking at the capua MT it looks nuts
You can get Sich Rada in the base game too
i have no idea if you know but in ante bellum you can actually play until 1900
This nation exists as a releasable in vanilla as well with the same government type
Yeah ik but it's really bland. Government mechanics and the new formable make this much more interesting to play.

Yes, finally, blobing
Fun fact: 25:45 in vanilla EU4, Ruthenia has UKR country tag, so technically you can play as Ukraine

Mod name?
Ante Bellum, the link is in the description
Once again mods add what should have been in vanilla EU4
Very cool actually
Part 2 pls
with the warning, shouldn't Golden Horde not be able to join Crimea, since tehy would be at war with one another?

Its hard to give Ukraine some unique ideas since it did not exist back then. What ideas do you suggest that are some what historical correct?
