How do we connect with you for paid advisement? I am looking at doing an LQ4 with the LS3 heads and Intake, DBC TB, how do I know which wire harness to buy? I can obviously type in Amazon and eBay but it’s still difficult to know is exactly what I am looking for as a first time swapper. A screen share video would be awesome with a full walk through Also what is the difference between the more expensive EFI systems and what you’re recommending? Everyone I personally know who has done or is doing an LS swap has a horsepower amount in mind and the build revolves around that, so I like that you include potential horsepower amounts. Would love to see a turbo build
Mr.Krusty always spittin facts kids, listen to this dude, he knows what he is talking about….the good, bad, and ugly…..he know what he is talkin about……my first swap i blew soooo much money….5th swap, not so much. By that time you use what you already have…..meaning left over junk from previous swaps
Glad you’re doing what you do! And I’m extremely happy to see your pricing out you knowledge. That hard earned and you deserve to make money off it. Keep it up brother!
These videos are great, I love the talking and the explanation! It would be cool if you gave a list of vehicles to look for that carry the engines. You did emphasize google though, so resource provided Keep the videos coming
Love the channel, it’s given me confidence to swap my 72 cutlass with a 5.7L LS1 and your channel helped with the part so far and slapping it this month hopefully lol
Just found your Channel man, I’m currently doing a 6.0 4l80e in my foxbody. I was surprised how cheap you’ve done them. I went out and got a stand alone, expensive k member mounts etc lol. But hey atleast it’s good stuff.
@@krustyclassicsgarage A windows computer and a $50 OBD dongle with some free open source software you can program and tune all the gen 3 PCMs you want. Spend about 30 minutes making changes and you are ready to go. PCMs sell at the self pull junkyard around here for around $25. And to be honest the ones you are buying from are probably using the same open source software that’s free to everyone.
I know you say that you are repeating yourself a lot, but I always seem to pick up more information the more I listen so please don’t be concerned about repeating stuff. You know what they say. You have to say it three times before it sinks in.😂
A lot of people use Ford Explorer or Mercury mountaineer 8.8. you might wanna look at Ford mustang 8.8 as they have the upper mounts on the center, but not in the same location as a A body, but some use them in Chevy G-body
Great tip on building an engine on the side. I bought a 6.0 gonna put it in a 65 Mustang I know people will hate me but 5.3s here can range from $300 to maybe 1k and I am in San Jose CA. Might be worth it to get a cheap one and throw it in. I think a good idea for a video would be to show us the tear down, and comment on what you would change or if you would reconsider putting that engine in.
Nothing wrong with a 5.3 just easier to make more horsepower and torque with the bigger 6.0 or 6.2. just depends on how much horsepower you want. Could always turbo or supercharge.
The reason I am doing a Ls3/6L80E swap is because I am building a street/track car. And because a block fell in my lap dumb a** cheap lol. Otherwise it would have been a 6.0
Comment some questions for me to answer in a video!
I’m doing a swap on a 79 regal 4.8 with 4l60e will I have to change my alt/power steering bracket so pulley doesn’t hit gear box
Off subject. Chester workout
On subject. Gauge cluster wiring
-basic street tune

I actually appreciate the narration and you sharing your knowledge. Great videos but you're going to have to do gnarly burnout in the Cuda
You are awesome! I greatly appreciate all the ls swap info. Mine is just getting started and I’m hoping it goes smoothly.
Just keep it simple and you'll realize how easy they are to do.

Another good one 👍👍
Question, do you recommend changing or upgrading the rear end if swapping A-body style cars?
Also do you recommend transmission coolers?
@@mychevyon8s only if you're making 500+hp to the rear tires. I always recommend external transmission coolers for automatics.

What city are you located in Texas if you don’t mind me asking?
He mentioned he’s in Temple TX.
A junkyard ls removal, would be insane for you numbers in my opinion and useful for people!
@wthomasw2 I don't waste my time at junkyards. Prices are insane now. That's why I have videos of my removing engines out of people's yards lol
He is right LS swap are not cheap if you are paying someone to do it
I have a 1991 BMW 2dr. Quote me for a swap.
What part of Texas?
I’m in Texas and might need someone to do my swap
Thank you for the info…
Just picked up a LQ4 (6L) for $400. Replacing seals, gaskets and timing chain, then I’m done. Keeping it stupid simple…

lol mayor of Yapptown
What about trans cooling
Sage advise...
Need to send you my 85 C10 to finish.
Ready when you are.
C10 trucks are the easiest, ive done 3 of them already….what yr? And whats keeping you from finishing??
How to connect the different fuel injectors/injector wiring adapters
Mainly the easiest injectors to use with a amazon harness
@@brucestirewalt7951 all amazon harnesses are set up for ls1/ls6 engines so they use EV1 injector plugs. If you use a truck intake you need adapters
Why couldn’t you simply pull the fuel pump and gas tank from the donor truck?
Not useful if it doesn't fit your vehicle
Iron heads vs aluminum heads
No video needed. Aluminum 😆
