Thanks for this video. It is amazing to see how the city has changed over the years. I was born and grew up in Lausanne from 1980 to 2000. I keep loving memories of it. I hope to go back visit family and friends soon after the pandemic.

As a resident in Lausanne, I confirm it is a wodnerful city ! Not only in terms of nature, landscapes, etc, but also its people and quality of life. Nevertheless, if it's your first time in Switzerland, know that this country is the most expensive in the world. For example, you'll have to spend more than 30% of youd salary for location, and maybe 10% for health insurance, which is extremly expensive ! Hence, your quality of life is surely much better than where you were . Enjoy !

I was there a couple of weeks ago. Beautiful city although somehow hard to walk throug it. Too mamy uphills and downhills. I prefered the newest part near the lake.

Lausanne.. Such a beautiful beautiful city with lots of potential.. Bud sadly too static and not much happens. It looks bigger than it really is and it doesn't have that many citizens. To be perfectlv honest, a lot of people move here but ends up leaving because it's simply just boring.

I live in Lausanne, and basically I agree. There's not much going on, other than having great access to the Alps. Lausanne is like the whole of Switzerland. The whole country feels like a village. On the plus side, it's very safe and predictable. On the down side, it's really boring...
