- Sailing to Greece for some Greek island sailing!
After realising our dream to sail to Lakka in Greece it’s time to have some fun! We hire small fast boats and go exploring the caves and bays of Paxos by boat, we have the best pain au chocolat for breakfast, try (and fail) to relax in our new floating chairs and go exploring on foot. Kate passes her dinghy driving test so she can fly solo!!
Join us as we take you on a whistle stop tour of Lakka and some of the beautiful parts of Paxos only accessible by boat! As our sailboat is our home we also deal with some boat jobs including walking on the bottom of the sea using our dive gear to scrub our hull, fitting our boom tent, and taking care of some day to day chores.

Lakka looks lush. Paxos picture perfect.
It is a stunning little bay Norma but best avoided in the very high season 😍
We always enjoy your videos but this one is super special. What an amazing place and we did enjoy a giggle at Kate in the floating chair and the giddy outakes, keep on having fun and please keep the videos coming! 🙂👍

It certainly is but, if sailing there, the peak season is best avoided….friends couldn’t even find a space in the bay 😬😬

Lakka took a hold of us on our first visit which how we ended up getting married there. It’s a very special place for us but magical for anyone I suspect. Just try to avoid the peak season! 😊⛵️
Hi Guys, love the water pics. SO BLUE! Great pic of the town and the wedding. One of the great gifts is sharing time with family and friends. We had a French baker in Barre Navidad that delivered pasteries and bread six days a week, just delicious. Nothing better than enjoying a treat in paradise.

It is such a stunning place. I hope you get to see it one day soon. If you possibly can try to avoid July and August as sadly it gets super busy. June it’s lively but manageable 😍😍
loving the improvements in quality and advances in story telling, but one minor criticism ... your new choices of sounds are sounding sooo much like Cadoha .. whilst immitation is the sincerest form of flattery, maybe try to find your own more unique style?
Thanks Jon. Really appreciate the constructive feedback. I wasn’t really aware that I had any “new” choices of sounds, so I guess it’s evolved without me really noticing! Certainly not trying to copy Cadoha but do quite like the more classical music so I can see why it might appear similar. I think we do both use the same music library called Epidemic Sound (which many channels do) so I guess that’ll have something to do with it. Anyway it’s something I wasn’t aware of and I’ll think on as we go forward so I do appreciate you letting me know 😊😊

Dom seems to have a real penchant for the majestic orchestral pieces, which has definitely become part of their signature, that and the overly turquoise LUTs 🤣🤣😂 ... and yes they go well with the stunning and majestic vistas we are almost uniquely priviliged to see as sailors! ... I think primarily its your opening sequence that has recently had me "confused" (all be it briefly) as autoplay kicks the next video off ... All the really successful channels end up with a signature look/feel ... the hardest part is finding one that works for the channel! :) Anyway, loving the content, wishing I'd managed to get back down to the Med this year instead of being stuck repairing my boat in Portland for nearly a year (and then running out of money so travels temporarily put on hold while I sell my soul to the man again) :)
