Tim is my fiance's uncle, he took us out not long ago. Great guy and was very blessed to experience all of these amazing spots ourselves. and south of 7 was delicious we got the prime rib.
Great fisherman been to plenty of your seminars back in the early 90's also im a good friend of Bobby Brack #57 i know he fished with you. We would all go to Capt. Harrys house go fishing on his boat epic times RIP Capt. Harry
I was lucky enough to go out with Tim a long time ago. (I just wanted to go after the slam species) We went out early morning. Every place we stopped at; Tarpon came right through where he said they would. I think it took till the 3rd spot for me to hook and land one. Then we went to look for Bones. But the story was really about Tim's dedication to get me on fish. I paid for a 1/2 day trip. I forget if he started vomiting before we left or after the first run from the dock. But every time we ran to another spot and came to a stop, Tim threw up. He said he must have had bad pizza the night before. He must have been in near agony the whole time we were out. But he got me that tarpon and we called it quits after arriving near the first bone spot. (we both knew and agreed he had to get off the water and proper treatment) Though my trip was cut short, I still think of it as a big success.
SP Fishing I use both, braid and mono. On this trip I fished with 8lb mono and then 10lb braid. I like 8lb mono for bonefish, as it lends more sport. Sometimes braid lines over test, and you’re actually using a stronger line.
@@georgepoveromo6133 thanks for the reply. Yes braid does overtest. I prefer mono for most applications apart from softbait fishing in foul rocky outcrops where putting the hammer down with braid is most helpful. Thanks. Great episode. From NZ

Aren't there usualy 12 episodes in a season and not 13?
Petroskoi We gave you a baker’s dozen this season 😀
@@georgepoveromo6133 Awesome!
@@georgepoveromo6133 your good to us
Any particular reason why you use light monofilament as opposed to say 10lb braid George?
