I'm confused? So if I cut off some of my OE BM the forums say you need to weld a plate? Is the plate just cosmetic or strength? After seeing yours it seems the plate is cosmetic because if I cut the piece I need to cut basically the area in front of the rubber mount it would be what yours look like?
