It’s nice. But it’s wishful thinking. Human nature is too complex and the devil too pernicious. Perhaps if Burns spent more time at church and less time having children out of wedlock for their mothers to starve he’d have seen that. Modern Scotland is a tyrannical nation and it’s no wonder, it’s based upon this. Makes me sad to see.
May these words guide the majority of us through the next 4 years of chaos and division.
