Excellent review, really appreciate you taking the time to do it in English. We were considering one of these when choosing my Wife's company car last year. Sadly we couldn't get a test drive or demonstrator here in the UK. We chose a BMW X1 25e which is very nice but ill always wonder about the Kuga.
great review mate, i'm very impressed with your observation of likes and dislikes...we are getting the hybrid next year here in Australia looking forward to it...
To temporarily stop the cruise control just press CAN (Cancel) and it will go in a "pause" mode on most Ford models of this generation. This car is equipped with a button that makes the car turn in corners automatically, where that CAN button would be placed. Just a dab on the brake will have the same effect as the CAN button.
@@thom-lov I did some further investigation. By pressing the CC button (top right) once, the cc will go in the pause mode. They did not forget it thankfully.
Thanks for letting me know Edward! Glad it’s there and I am just silly by overlooking it.. 🤣 Cheers,

Thanks for the review, what do you recommend for a usage 10k kms/year, the phev or the 1.5 ecoboost petrol? We do around 2 trips per month to the countryside with around 200kms each (without the possibility to charge), the rest of the time is the usual 10-20kms/day to work and bring the kids to school. So based on this usage don't know which engine to pick. Thanks
I would go for the PHEV anyway. The E-range is so good that for all the short drives and such you can do it electric which is becoming also more attractive with more expensive fuel. It might also have some tax benefits for you? 😄
When you don't have solar panels at home (but can charge), would you get a PHEV or FHEV? I am also wondering which drives more fluently, PHEV or FHEV. thank you
Merci THom.
Glad that you are enjoying your Kuga Pierre! I fully understand what you are saying and definitely agree on it. Wishing you many safe miles in the Kuga! Cheers,
Seats have been carried over from the previous generation that I had they are tiny bases don't support under your knees atall they need to re think that.the 150 bhp was in my one and it had no cylinder deactivation.the petrol economy is diabolical trust me because of this.if the new 150 engine has it then you'll be ok.if not totally avoid it ok
There is a turn on/off button. The butten with the adaptive cruisecontrol logo is that button.

Much appreciated! 😃
Thanks. Love the silver color and 19" rims. For more comfort go for the 18".
My 1st phev had 18 inch wheels, 73 plate one has 19 inch and no difference.

That makes sense! Thanks 😄👍🏻

PHEV ofcourse, how is this hard to decide with the information you gave, lol.

After full charge, is the battery really fully charged or is there some uncharged part to extend the life of the battery?
There always is a small amount of kWh which is used to preserve the battery, so usable amount is a bit less than the full amount given by Ford.
How about the FHEV review please
nice video! Wondering what's your opinion regarding CVT?
Thanks! The CVT works fine, it’s not my favorite but I wouldn’t skip the car for that as it works good with the battery support. 👍🏻

Nice Tshirt!
Thanks 😆
Is this color solar silver? Thank you!
Yes thats this Ford color.
Does any viewer use the duratec 2.5 225 to tow a caravan?

In the new model there are new chairs available with extra support. But imo they should make these standard.
