I've been looking forward to finding out more about this one since it was announced. I like the idea of a metal body getting scraped and dented up over time
I’m sure somebody will come up with printed panels which will make it more top lighter. This one has potential tho! It comes with all of the stuff I had to upgrade on my TRX4m and SCX24 crawlers.
I'm always glad to see any new RC being released in 1:12 scale, but I must say, this has a face that only a mother could love. As for function - we'll, I think Phil's covered that very well.
@@MCsCreations Yes, I'mbsure the use of a Jeep body promises good sales , but it's a dull, conservative choice. Certain bodies invariably start to prove popular, which means a raft of copycats, until, to borrow a phrase from Phil, that body choice has "been done to death". Think Defender, Dodge Power Wagon, Toyota LC70, etc. There are potential alternatives for each of these.
Good to see a sensored brushless system with an independent reciever instead of those nasty 2 in 1s. Looks like it has potential with a bit of low down weight, better tyres and shock tuning
You know what, Phil... It's not a crawler, but it's somewhat capable of it... It has a good wheel speed... I like it! 😃 To do FPV on dirty roads it would be perfect! Anyway, merry Christmas! Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Like the fact that it has a metal body! A few upgrades and I think it will be on point! But, then again, I like all the RC's 🤣🤣! Another great video, Thanks!!
I think it looks great a bit of modding and I'm sure it would be very capable, boring if it's perfect out of the box 😂😂😂 great video as always, I quite like it as a speed boat aswell 😂😂
Got mine yesterday - wheels and tyres on the way. Removing and relocating the switch. Adding a little brass. Might replace the servo with something quicker. I like the scale - on a trailer pulled buy a 1:10 crawler it looks like a buggy rather than a full size jeep.
Looks like it could be a good platform with some help. The power button wow lol but id like to see that built likt a 4ws moon buggy with some 10.2 straight axles some nice 1.9. I think it would be good fun
@tomleyRC I am very much enjoying your videos. Thank you for all the work you put in. Apologies if you have covered this many times but could you go through 2S 3S batteries etc. You mention it a lot but I can’t find a video where you explain it.
I think foc is like variable valve timing or variable ignition timing in 1/1 cars, it varies the motor phase timings depending on what it needs, torque or speed
More like a govenor on a lawnmower engine i'd think. Except not a mechanical system that uses centrifugal force. Maybe motor speed slows so it ups voltage to keep steady speed and drops/slows the same.
It's actually a good base though really, cause it's so slap bang in the middle of all aspects of RC you can go any direction with it..... crawler, rock racer, basher, speed car, drone, helicopter, boat 😅
I've built an army of hyper go's...all customized and all parts interchangeable, between my offroad trucks, drift cars and rally cars. I've got spare parts for life from crazy AliExpress sales, motors and ESC's for $10
Отличный обзор, красивое видео! Но машина имеет малые размеры. Стандарт это база 313мм. По воде так будет ездить и 14210 на колесах-лопатах. А H12Y тупиковая ветвь развития. Дорогая красивая Игрушка. С уважением.
Hi Tomley, Do you plan to review the MJX H8H? I recently discovered your channel, and I really enjoy your perspective on the RC car world. I appreciate your analysis and the way you view things. I would love to see you review this truck! Thank you for your videos. ✌️
The other springs are shorter. I Put a Hobbywing ESC in mine, and switched to a Dumbo, Im not really a crawler RC'r, I'm not sure why I even bought it, but it's Fun, A lipo gives its a little more pep and speed. I would have like to see it more along the lines of an H1 Hummer. I also put injora silicone tire inserts.
Looking at the front of it, it looks like a really angry Jeep. The only thing I don't like is that it's a bit top heavy by the look of it. I think you're bang on about that. I'd also look into moving the battery to the front of it.
I was thinking “beach jeep “ while watching, then during the mud part I was thinking maybe a swamp jeep with paddle tires and a bikini top! This video is great with a coffee 😊
Hey tomley, can you please do a rewview on the Redcat Valkyrie. I know you already made the car of the year video, but i think this definitely deserves it
I think it's one of the most interesting trucks released lately. Rolling over is about all it seems really good at but it's not particularly bad at anything. If it was a tough faster it would be a decent trail/ rock basher with a little weight added down low.
The looks isn’t too bad, even for a non Jeep lover.. I like that it’s heavy, makes it look way more scale than these other featherweights. Wheels are off though.
This is an excellent review as usual. The metal body has me wondering why? It makes it top heavy, as you said, and eventually there will be a lot of dents. I was surprised with the switch location it didn't get turned off going over the rocks. May be it''s supposed to be a crawler basher with very good water proofing. I could see people taking it out bashing it up down rocks, through water and mud and having a great time. The dents that would take place would give it character. May be Hyper Go has created a whole new crawling class called Crash Crawling. Participants would be judged like gymnastics on how artistic your crashes are rolling down the rocks.
Yes, it’s actually not bad as a trial truck… so brass weights and better tyres would make a huge difference. You have to hold the button for a few seconds to turn it off, so as long as you don’t get hung up for too long on a rock, it should be okay

@@TomleyRC got mine.
How often do you calibrate your scales
@@TomleyRC i dit it
Really you'll buy me one , i'd give it to my son for sure. Looks durable.
I've been looking forward to finding out more about this one since it was announced. I like the idea of a metal body getting scraped and dented up over time
Looks like it's cast aluminum so it probably won't dent
I’m sure somebody will come up with printed panels which will make it more top lighter. This one has potential tho! It comes with all of the stuff I had to upgrade on my TRX4m and SCX24 crawlers.
4:38 oh my, nice car in the background ❤

You've got a good point there... A new body could be really nice. Perhaps a 60s truck?

When the spring exited stage left I laughed so loud at 3am lol
Good to see Alan back 😁
Little Alan appears briefly in the next video 😅

I love the Hyper Go brand cars. I think the brand is gonna grow well
I like the metal body and FOC. I can see V2 being really good (after they take notes from this video).
Hopefully there is no V2!!!!
The water footage was beautiful. Nicely shot, Phil!
If only they made it without those angry lights.
I appreciate your honesty regarding ads👍 excellent review
Thank you for bringing back Allan! 🥹
Keeping you to your word as we dont get RC's like these where i live so thanks for my MJX
Despite it being dirty, that Ftx outback tracker looks like a beauty!

7:32 "wouldn't leave you half baked" I didn't know you imbibed in the devil's lettuce there Phil! heheheh
😅
great water shots again.... I'm a jeep owner and i hate those angry grills
Try it with 3s lipo
i think this should be called the hyper go roller, also i loved the water part in this video!! you just gotta do it
2.2kg "you can get some brass" 😂
Like the fact that it has a metal body! A few upgrades and I think it will be on point! But, then again, I like all the RC's 🤣🤣! Another great video, Thanks!!
Yes, it has potential… just not quite there out the box
Looks cool,is the rolling all in the design or is the driver contributing 😮?? lol 😂!! Love all your videos dude 🤙
Spring went WEEEEEEEEEE😂
Love the vids they got me into rc models with the wpl c24 ❤ thanks ! keep posting and stay strong 💪
It looks nice but just wished the tires had a bit more side wall
Awesome review as always! For the price point, I’d probably rather get something like an old FTX Mauler/RGT Rock Hammer for wheel speed & bouncing 😊
I think it looks great a bit of modding and I'm sure it would be very capable, boring if it's perfect out of the box 😂😂😂 great video as always, I quite like it as a speed boat aswell 😂😂

Interesting trail truck, nut I'm really here for the crawling ASMR. You make good vids Phil.
What is the rally car in the background on the bench.. love the vlog
Always a good video at Tomley's! 👏🙏
Love that it performs good then when you start talking it tumbles 😅 cool water shots 👍
Looks like a Boat anchor

Just as you said we can say it is waterproof, i expected it to just stop 😂 GT 85 is a must have 👍
Looks so much fun through water and mud! Like you say - thats what it's for! 😂🤘
Thanks for making me want another one of your reviewed cars!
I love the flow in the video. 😍🫵🏻

What size are the wheel hexes? That thing looks like it could use some brass wheel spacers
Giving the big boys a run for their money . If Hyper can do metal and brushless for this price point so could they .
Merry Christmas .
They’re about 90% there with this truck
@@donniemarks94 Agreed , some fine tuning for your preferred style . Some better tires would really help with crawling for example .

With a few little mods it would be a nice semi scale trail truck I think! Hello from Arkansas, USA!

I would love to see you review this truck!
Thank you for your videos. ✌️
Water slomo is awesome🎉
I do believe there is much room for improvement. The on/off switch location just has me in shock.
Yes, and it didn’t cause any issues during this run, however I’m sure it could do on some gnarly rocks
The other springs are shorter. Nice looking, body will be interesting once its scratched up some....
I wonder what it would look like on a hard sanded beach with a trailer and jet ski 🤔🤔
Probably pretty cool…. With an 90’s Barbie driving 😅
@@TomleyRC 🤣🤣🤣 YEEESSSSSS!! Pretty in Pink my little sister would love that. thank you for the idea

I am no fan of crawling but I am an RC car enthusiast! And this one is actually cool to me!
Dang it was hoping It didn't rollover
You should review the 1/8 defender, I heard that it is really fast while also being a good crawler
I've got one and I love it.
@ yeah it seems really cool, kinda sad that it’s 850$ CAD but it does seem fun.
@@Twisted_Knob yeah, it was a bit pricey, but it was a treat for myself and I've not bought anything else since...but I do fancy a Mojave 4S

That on/off button placement reminds me of the old tyco r/c cars
Great Trail Rig. Scale. Nice. Price isn't bad either for all that
Have been looking for a trail truck. This is moving up my list quickly

The foc is really nice I like the feature
Some good features tho. 😊
Are you going to be reviewing the new notorious
Can you please review the brushless blackzon slyder
RC car it's amazing please😊❤
What's the hex size? 12mm? This will be one of MN128/86's competitor.
It rolled over 😂 nice jeep by the way
Speaking of new RCs, Phil, will you be getting the new Yikong Nissan Patrol? Looks good, i think.

What about the tire on the rear, you think if you move it to the front will it change the way it perform? Just saying
I gotta get one to put a wpl c54 body on
It looks like a scaled down version of the Capo Racing JK Max.
It’s heavy because it’s backed up, you can tell because of the constipated face.
How's the foams?
could you please suggest rim sizes and hex adapter size? I'm waiting delivery of my RC but I want to order some custom rims
Personally I'm a big OCD fan myself too 🤣🤣🤣
Tbh, I think it's meant to be a KOH type rig. Something like Holly's "Rockness Monster" from Mischief Maker TV.
i really like this model i think i might just get one for Christmas.
Reminds me a lot of the formula off road vehicles
Looks like a diecast model that happens to be able todrive too.
Will you review the ucx24 by udirc?
Also the big mjx defender is amazing you would really enjoy it!
Thank you for that great video! 😁
A decent looking truck. Looks fun to drive as well. As always great video!
Certainly has some potential 🤘
Did u get the derrc 210e yet u should compare it to the mt10
It really looks like an rc car that you need to be close to all the time as it tumbles easily
I've had my eye on this one thanks for the vid
What are thee odds? Thank you!
Damn they're even cloning Capo stuff now lol
looks very nice... maybe put other wheels on this car ?
Are diffs locked?
Nice Jeep should’ve put the other tires on
This thing has more rolls than Greggs 🔄🔄😂
Hi tomley I just wanted to know is the dt03 project still going
It looks amazing but because of the metal body it a bit heavy.
If this is your thing then maybe try a Redcat Wendigo. Not expensive and pretty perfect for the terrain.
