Yippie. An easy fix. sort of. lots of labor but no large cost. This may sound stupid but did you partially fill the tanks to prevent them from "floating" out of the ground? This happens around North Carolina. My neck of the USA. Hopefully they are in use so not an issue by now.

We had a bit of water in them from checking the inside of them with the hose but not partially filled. These tanks are concrete so they are in place and won’t move unless dug up completely.

It shouldn't leak from the inlet unless the water level is too high.
