I am a DIY, only doing my own nails. Always had great nails, but worked in healthcare 46 years so could not let them grow. Now retired, but nail beds are flatter (used to be so curved on the sides). I love having nails long with nail art too. I struggled with form placement. Then went to full cover tips. They are great but wanted to master forms with building my own structed nails. I love ballerina shape because of you!! So back to watching your videos to get forms applied correctly, apex, C curve, and nice shape. You make it look so easy. I cannot put all forms on, I knock them around going into the light. I just finished full set and am looking forward to rebalance. On the full cover tips I tend to wear them for weeks and fully remove them. Anyway, thanks for all the great videos. I always tell you not to worry about the length of your vidtos. You are a good teacher and the detail is necessary. Thanks!! I hope one day to do my nails as quick as you do yours😂
No better video than a solid nail construction! I always find sth new and valuble in those tutorials. Especially from you as your videos are the best explained, very consiatent, professional and informative. I was wondering if you ever do gel nails on tips extensions and if you have a video about making those ? Are there substantial benefits from using forms over tips as you seem to show forms mostly

I hope, that I’ll do as good as you next time. I ordered me some gel and will do them with it. Actually I do them with Neonail gel polish, but lengthening isn’t really good with it. On my nails, manicure did not hold really good, but the Neonail polish is really good for my nails. Now I’ll do them longer with the gel and I hope, that it will run good🙈
I made a terrible mess of my non dominant hand this evening trying to use the lazy girl method with the full cover tip and I made three times the work for myself. It slides around so much and I even put forms underneath but god lord what a project I made for myself. 🤦♀️ I really wanted a nice shape so that’s why I did the full cover tips but just too much product and sooo much filing. One thing good is with all that filing and I didn’t nick myself which I usually do and I but I was very tired half way through but other than everything else was a disaster. They are good enough for now and when I have more time I’ll probably have to file some more 😆. That’s what happens when you’re learning though so now I know better. I really needed this video and will save it for a better way next time.
I always smile and tell my clients, “If you can see your nails, I can’t. Relax your hand. Breathe.” Some of them, I noticed, are holding their breath trying to look at their nails while I am working. They usually laugh because they didn’t realize they were even doing it. 😁
