    These are really nice. You could also use a ram press to compress the soap into the mold. Thank you for sharing.

      Thanks for the tip! - I don't have a ram press, I have an arbor press though...that could possible work

    I used the shower scrub bar you sent me for the first time yesterday, and I LOVE IT! It left my skin so smooth and soft. I'll definitely be ordering more.

      Hi Susan! I thought so too - I just need to tweak it a bit more before I am totally satisfied with them but my customers are quite happy with them. Thanks for watching! 💖

    I am so glad you did this video..I bought the recipes you mentioned in the past, but feel the same as you. I love the foam and i think that is the selling on ton those..for those who dont have tubes to enjoy a bath bomb experience. But for tanning and gardening, something scrubby is needed. Having both components in a product would be great so I love your idea! Looks like it came out really good too, just needs a bit more foam. What about Xanthan Gum or Guar Gum powder? Are you going to have your recipe available on your site? I bought the last recipe just recently and would love more. Need your link again. I dont have the time to tweak recipes long enough to figure things out. Right now homeschooling 3 out of 5 kids, working, running a business , as a single mom, theres barely time to make my products! lol. I have a few favorite folks I trust on here to buy recipes from or take their referrals from. A few like you , have experience and knowledge I know I can trust. Enjoy your weekend, look forward to the next video!

      Hi Mary! Thank you so much for your sweet words!!! 🥰🥰🥰 - my goodness you must be busy! I admire you for all you do!! (sleep much? LOL)
      I will have this on my site once I get it 100% right - I do need a bit more foam...I never considered Xanthan or Guar - I always considered those to be thickeners and conditioners. Am I missing something? - well I just googled it, I see they can boost foam...now off to think about this some more LOL!

    So cool Tammy! Do you shrink wrap them before putting them in the box, or is this a clear bags plastic bag?

    • @WalnutCreekBathBoutique
      @WalnutCreekBathBoutique  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn't mention that did I?!?! - I shrink wrapped them but did not take the heat gun to them (easier to open)

      @@WalnutCreekBathBoutique I’m trying to decide on an impulse sealer or the National shrink wrap system

    • @WalnutCreekBathBoutique
      @WalnutCreekBathBoutique  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lisagarrett1330 I love my national shrink wrap system, but it is a bit of an investment and it takes up a lot of room. But like most people I hear, I wish I would have bought it sooner 😁

    Thank you for sharing. What size box is the one you use for the shower scrub bars, and what size box do you use for your oval shampoo bars?
    Tip: rubbing the back of a spoon (metal eating utensil...soup spoon size), over each cavity, in a fast, circular motion, is much faster than using a spatula or knife.

      Oh what a great tip! Thank you for sharing that! - I use the 2 3/4" x 13/16" x 2 11/16" boxes - I put a link in the description box - that one box will work with both the square and oval bars - WIN!! 🤗

    So no cocobetains? I like that idea. I'm feeling it's going in way too many of my recipes that they are all pretty much the same now.

    • @WalnutCreekBathBoutique
      @WalnutCreekBathBoutique  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it is a pretty popular ingredient isn't it. I guess I never thought about that before.🤔😃

      @@WalnutCreekBathBoutique for the emulsifier you used... do you think btms 25 would be good! I bought 6 pounds of that by mistake. I have both the recipes you bought and thought the same by just looking at them. Glad you went ahead and tested them for me. Lol

    • @WalnutCreekBathBoutique
      @WalnutCreekBathBoutique  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheeElfinlight Honestly I don't use btms 25 very😂 often so am not sure how that would turn out - maybe make a small batch and see, you might love it (hopefully - especially if you have 6 pounds!!😮😮😅)

    Er my gurd...I'm gonna have to visit the Bath & Body Ladies again. 🙄 Which mean's a visit to Etsy, which mean's Cha Ching! LOL. I love, love, love how you tweak it to make it your own! I am not that brave...yet. And I really don't think I should be until I get my basic's dead solid perfect. I do have a few questions tho, if ya don't mind. 1st why did you use polysorbate when you were using dye? I didn't think we had to because dye is water soluble. Is there another reason you did this? I ask because I made embeds for my bath bombs with dye and I didn't use any poly. And 2nd, is...is... oh crappp, I forgot what my question was. I'm sure it will come to me at 3am, waking me out of a dead sleep! 😂 I'll keep ya posted!

    • @WalnutCreekBathBoutique
      @WalnutCreekBathBoutique  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      LOL - I used poly because of the butters I used - I wouldn't want to have someone have a slippery tub and then get hurt after using this. Poly is an emulsifier, so it will help butters and oils to mix with the water and not separate out and sit on the tubs surface. Let me know if you ever remember your other question!🤪

    Can a regular bath recipe be used with a mold (like u used in this video) without a press? I checked urs out but u used a press in spite of the title. Thx🌷
    BTW I love ur videos.

      Correction: regular bath BOMB recipe

    • @WalnutCreekBathBoutique
      @WalnutCreekBathBoutique  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Helena! I suppose you can use this mold with regular bath bombs - I really never use a silicone mold for bath bombs so can't say for sure, although I did use the Bath Fizz & Foam recipe with this mold and it worked ok.
      I'm not sure which video you are referring to - I usually use an arbor press for most of my bath bombs when using Cada Molds, or sometimes I just hand press them. Thanks so much for watching!! 🥰

    Dye is water soluble so lakes would have been better.
