Fruit fly solution!!!! All the fruit has fruit fly eggs on them. So everything needs to be washed with baking soda and white vinegar. Even veggies. It works!! I can tell when they haven’t been washed. Even bananas!! I just soak them for a bit then rinse and you can store them in the counter with no worries!!

Sara, I agree with the homemade Fruit Fly traps. Also, try to find their nest. Any source of dampness in the house. Even Genie diaper pails, a Shark Hydrovac dirty water cup, wet towels in the bathroom ( hang them up to dry immediately) keep dish towels dry, etc. Also check under the kitchen and bathroom sinks for water leaks. These little flies are very resourceful! I hope this helps!
