You guys have been wanting a spoon s2000 update, well here it is! In todays video we get the Spoon S2000 prepped for time attack at Gridlife Colorado. We get a brand new RSFuture carbon fiber front splitter for extra downforce in the front and we also go a step larger in tire size from a 255 to a 265! The s2000 is time attack ready!

Hey Dut, they make in-line nuts kinda for lines too. To make it easier to take on and off plus you can get it as tight as possible

You're in good hands with the Goodyear Supercar 3R. I went from a052 to S3R in the same size and I dropped a few seconds at Laguna Seca with just that one change. It also is more consistent lap after lap. The A052 would overheat after a few laps. FYI, they need to warm up before they grip. A052 is ready to rock cold - the S3R isn't. The drawback is they don't last as many days as the A052.

Try looking at the origin fab durlin upper control arm bushings, it changes your offset about 7mm inward really easy install that helps with clearance one of the best mods I did to my s2k

I run Goodyear Eagle F1 on my Civic Type R. I believe Goodyear changed its compound in 2020. I am pretty impressed with these tires. Used to run Michelin PS4s, but I like the Goodyear more.
Hope the car does good with the altitude difference here in Colorado hopefully I get to see it at gridlife

Hey just a heads up, I’d switch back to the A052’s if you’re trying to run in streetmod. I’m pretty sure those Goodyear’s are a 100tw and the limit for that class 200tw.

If you are going to run spacers they need to be hubcentric. Those universal ones will be off balance and wear out your hub bearings. 25:38

splitter looks good! you may want some more support up front, at high speeds that will probably flex and get pulled down. Professional Awesome Racing makes VERY good splitter rod options that a lot of time attack drivers use. Also tape the gap between the bumper and the splitter or add in a air damn. Cool to see someone like you get into Time Attack, enjoy Gridlife. Tons of good guys out there!
Colorado track isn’t to fast and we are going to add more cables or rods later on. Tape is definitely going on before the race!

If you want to make that splitter at home from top quality twill carbonfiber and epoxy resin you can make it yourself. Its not cheap though about $275. Send Cut Send will bend your btacket for you at a ver fair costs
