  • Blackman Akeeb Kareem is popular as an Afro-Soul singer who held sway in the 70s till the 80s in Nigeria and beyond. He took a peek back in time while responding to questions from Dele Adeyanju.
    Enjoy.

This guest, Uncle Akeeb Kareem is one of the living legends in the music industry. Agbaletu, this interview with the legendary and your efforts to get him should be commended.
Uncle Blackman's music has touched so many lives and his new calling is additionally to assist humanities.
It is my prayer that the Lord shall bless him beyond his imagination.
He is a very nice, sincere and straightforward elderly man.
Agbaletu, more grace to you and your crew.

I keep wondering why the recordings are not shown, that makes it very interesting. My big uncle Akeeb Kareem,I am 60 years old and I have been knowing him since when I was a young boy growing up,I remember him coming to my area at Ekotedo Iyaolobe to see somebody, that house is adjacent to Lemomu street.I am so happy and full of joy that he is alive and kicking strong.I pray that God will bless you with good health and long life in Jesus name.Thank you Sir for all that you have done and still doing, your music is just the type of music you play that people of my generation will listen to and say that we have listened to a good music
