Wow! I've listened to Ms. Cordero play Mozart and Bach, this evening, and now this gorgeous piece I had not previously heard. One thing strikes me most about her playing: she must be a terrific storyteller. Everything she touches has heart and a sense of direction; everything she plays is a narrative. To be able to play so touchingly on the violin and the viola is a wonderful gift. It's her gift, of course; it's also a gift to me.
