This actually applies to any one of N's Pokémon, though the Zorua is the only one you can get unless you're able to Memory Link with a Black/White 1 save.

The Magikarp salesman in Unova is actually not scamming you , not just because it has good IVs, but because that's literally the only way to obtain Magikarp/Gyarados in Black/White. He is literally selling you a rare Pokemon you cannot capture in this region, that's totally a bargain.

That's the worst trade in Pokémon history, unless you have two DS and one version of each game, remove that everstone sell it ( throw it at Mindy's House, use fly before she sees you) and there you go, you got the last laugh, but not my case, leaves a bitter taste until Gen. 9 came and try to forget that I ever meet Mindy, be free Gasper.

Scarlet and violet has a couple of trade gift Pokémon that were forgotten one is trading a Pincurchin for a npc’s haunter in Levincia and then in cascarrafa you can trade a paldean wooper for a johtonian wooper nicknamed Manchester
You forgot about the tentacool in gen 2 if you soft lock yourself without a surf pokemon

Getting gen 2 starters, in hoenn isn't for "basically" completing the dex....that's exactly what it's for. Cut the filler words fam, it'll be better content. Especially when the filler word is unnecessary to begin with even if you're trying to fluff.
