The Apples in Stereo - The Bird That You Can't See (Single Mix) [2000]

I bought the CD single of "The Bird That You Can't See" last month on a total whim, only to pop it into the player and realize that the mix is totally different from the album mix! Most notably, there's some added percussion in the little breakdown bit. The single I have is the UK pressing on Cooking Vinyl, so I suppose this is the version that hit the airwaves in the UK? According to the liners, this remix was put together by Rich Costey.
The original track was recorded in between May 1999-February 2000 and included on their album 'The Discovery of a World Inside the Moone'.

Wait its a different mix???? I never bought it because I assumed it would be the same as the album version...
