I just bought these (7/2023) for my CRF250L. The price at $150, is the exact same as when I first saw them in March 2022. Having a load of fun mounting them, as there is near infinite possibilities to secure to the frame or the rack I previously mounted. It's a great "brain teaser" of a challenge, and I enjoy using my creativity to figure it out. As far as the quality goes, they appear to be well made from durable material, & at my age, they should last longer than me...
You are so right about the brain teaser aspect. I want to get a few of the accessory bags that connect to them for things I want quick access to. So I don’t have to unroll the saddle bag. Thanks for watching.
@@motorcyclerewind Last Sunday I went for a nice 6 hour ride with a few stops. I had two new pieces of equipment; 1) A small $45 magnetic tank bag (which I said I would never buy). It turned out to be very easy to access (but not waterproof, maybe a clear shower cap would work?). 2) Using ROK straps, I strapped an old duffel bag on crosswise. The main compartment had straps in the way, but both ends had easy access to zippered pouches. Again, not waterproof, but worked out good on my dry trial run. Happy touring!
I have an 83 GPZ750 and with your long distance rides, I figured I mention something that may add to your comfort. The 83 750 vs the 84 have different handle bars. Kawasaki made the risers an inch or so higher on the later bike, and I think this difference between model years is the same on the 1100 bikes. They did this for comfort and I'm told it make a noticeable difference on longer rides.
It was way more comfortable than I expected. But I said a hundred times, that if the handlebars were an inch taller it would be perfect. Have to look for some 84 risers.

Fairing =👍👍
Thanks.
I love the GPZ's!
I knew nothing about them before I got this one. Know I really appreciate what they were trying to build. Thanks for watching.
Fairing looks sweet
I think so too!!! Thanks for watching.
Oh and fairing for the win
Thanks. I am definitely liking the fairing.
How much can buy a bike like this in the states?
Any bike selling websites?
Greetings from Hungary.
Check out my friend Wiljan’s site he is in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 and ships worldwide. He has an amazing inventory. vintagemotorcycles.nl/
No fairing.
I am torn. Like it both ways. Took the fairing back off because I have work to do. It’s an easy on and off. So I can do both. Thanks for watching.
