Myself and my mate rode here a few weeks back when it was red hot. It's a great campsite and the location is amazing, the pub up the road does great food too. Downside was the owner had let way too many people pitch and the loos couldn't cope, people kept nipping in to the bushes by the stream. There's running a business and then there's being greedy, we were absolutely sweating our bollocks off in our gear and the guy barely let us stop before harassing us for payment. Looks like you had a boss time though ha ha! 👍
Yes it was a good site, if you look back on my earlier vid in the van it was the first day of opening I had it practically to myself 😂 and nice fresh bogs. On this one they were Mingin.
Hi Billy it’s called Newlands Valley, not open all year tho. If you have a look at my vid prior in my Van there is a bit when I drive in contact details are on it. It had just opened I had it virtually all to myself weather glorious as well. 👍

@@onahi2002 Too be honest when I arrived and put the side down it just sunk. Peed about with rocks and a broken puc for a bit seemed to be sitting too proud. The bungees I used to strap my tent on so I thought I’d use em. Must admit when I was sat there looking at the bike and them I also thought it was a complete waste of time 😂😂 must have been the Sun. Don’t worry I never take offence of any comments I get on here anymore. Thanks for watching 👍

Last week, on the way north to Orkney, I stayed over night at a place I see you camp. The skyfall river location. It was a bit of a nightmare though as all of Scotland were doing the same and I struggled to find a decent place. I've just uploaded the video on my channel.

Unfortunately my bike is off the road at the minute, it needs a few things doing to it, but I shall be car camping and cycling soon up at Salisbury Plain so that should be good.

No probs, that particular spot the ground was really soft, in my tin point mind thought it’d help it stop falling over 🤣👍
In the UK it's a smart move I think - always possibility of overnight rain and that's a very soft looking soil.

Apologies if you mentioned it in the vid but is that a Vango Nova 200 or 300 tent? Would you recommend it?
It’s a 300 lots of space inside, with headroom. I highly recommend it. Replaced my old omega 250.
