Great vid….great area to ride… reminds of rides in the mountains of Pennsylvania… heading into the Pocono mountains of Pennsylvania tomorrow… one Harley and one Beemer and me on the Triumph Tiger.
There's nothing like that first cuppa when you have just set all of your stuff up and sat down to relax. Bliss. The campsite at the bottom of the Kirkstone pass is my favourite location when stopping in the lakes (five times a year). Great enthusiasm again buddy, feels like wer'e there with you.
Thanks mate I do try to make people feel like there with me glad you noticed! And it’s you guys that give me the enthusiasm to do this 👍 5 times a year! I don’t blame you it’s a magical place.
Larvly mate. I lived in Ambleside for a few years in the late 70's, yes I was riding then, & a lot of walking. Watching this from Stafford (sitting in the sun) was like going home :-) Cheers. Stay safe
Love that Trangia. Got to get one. Have you tried lighting tapers? Keeps fingers away from flame. Another good video. Man of me own heart where cooking is concerned. Owt cuisine as opposed to haute cuisine😂
We love our Trangia. Running it with gas and have the spirit burner as backup.. and for a quick cuppa along the road we have a separate little burner. ☕
It’s a good bike reliable engine and it has more power than I thought it would have, it handles well but the front end can get a bit skittish at higher speed when fully loaded. It’s comfortable and I have spent long days riding it but I must admit the seat could do with being a little softer, but after riding it for 9 months I can truly say it’s a good bike 🤘
Santa will be bringing me a trangia this Christmas. Nice one mate.
You can’t go wrong with a trangia pal, you might have to show me the sights where you live in Scotland that would be cool 👍
@@baylatron no probs mate anytime, currently its minus 3 so give it a little while lol
Just come across your channel, enjoyed that video and am now looking for part 2
Subbed 👍🏼

The little dents in trangia pot are measuring gradients. Could have used to measure water n milk.

You need a wacaco nanopresso. Check them out if you want a real coffee ! 👍🏻
