- By that model of true genius, Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart, I give you one of the most sublime moments in all of opera--here, The Marriage of Figaro--wherein the Countess forgives the Count. It never fails to bring tears to my eyes.
The most sublime and beautiful 2 minutes of music in the ENTIRE operatic repertoire... just makes me cry every time I hear it...
Mozarts most beautiful song ever...
Automatically makes me cry...every single time...❤❤❤
I just can’t get enough of this movement. It speaks so much of my own life. I just wish…
What a beautiful piece of music. So heavenly.
Absolutely beautiful
It always gives me tears and chills.
Anyone who loves this piece of music should equally love the trio Mozart composed for Cosi Fan Tutti. Soave Si'a il Vento is so much like this piece in tone and pacing and even at times in melody. Check it out if you aren't familiar.
Das ist die Musik der waren Vergebung...❤
magical

Oh Jeremiah, of the first name, Provider of Sublime Opera to the Perpetual Universe and your humble home, Planet Earth: If it please you, and if you are able to dry your precious, and, understandable tears, .... as you do so ... pray thee, ... proclaim thee, the diva whom you present, in full and glorious rightful name; and, if
... beknownsted to you ... particulars of her profound performance ... includingeth... the location and pertinent dates on the Gregorian calendar. If thou knowest.
Renee Fleming. Don't know when or where.
The scoundrel doesn't deserve her forgiveness, all the more glory to her and Amadeus for the heavenly music and sublime feelings. 💖
can pls somebody tell me, why it means 'contessa perdono' and not 'contessa perdona'? its imperative.
Good question. The word here is used as a noun, not a verb, like so: “Countess, [please grant me] forgiveness.” Another example: “Dopo quello che ha fatto, sua moglie non gli concederà mai il perdono.” Meaning: “After what he did he will never obtain his wife's forgiveness.”
@@JeremiahAlphonsus WOW thank You so much dear Jeremiah. It was a helpful and very intelligent answer, bravo!
I salute you, friend.
