When I was in hs I remember all the girls loving the book so I read it. To me it was about a minor with her first crush entering a toxic, obsessive and unhealthy codependent relationship. I hated how she also felt entitled to know all their secrets even tho she barely knew them. And this boy stalked her and like you said, she was ok with it. I also didn't like how she constantly put no thought into how her weird relationship affected her dad. I mean in the book she left him right after her friend died and went to Italy in one of the books! She also planned to fake her death so she can sparkle. She risked the treaty and a whole bunch of lives for her first crush. So stoopid. Nah his only interest in her was she smelled real yummy and he couldn't read her mind. But she was literally of the same mindset as everyone else who saw him. She wanted to jump his bones just like any other girl. Dont take a blank mind to figure that out. The whole series was one bad decision after another and all cus shes a minor with hormones who thinks she can make adult decisions.
sigh yeah unfortunately the popular books are always ass :/ like all the john green books when i was in high school and jfc now the goddamn colleen hoover books. i used to be the biggest fucking book worm like read 1+ books PER DAY (i wasn’t allowed to go outside like ever lmfao) so when i would read what was popular versus some of the absolutely AMAZING books i’ve read i was just like ????? are y’all really that surface level?
Saw this movie on the day it came out. I liked the first book a lot at the time but the "fans" attending the opening night were really something else.. At the first appearance of Jacob the person sitting behind me let out a loud moan. 😬 And throughout the film they wouldn't stop with the horny fangirling and screams, not to mention the film itself wasn't at all what I had imagined in my mind when I read the book, everything was so ridiculous lol. I never walked out of films before but that was my first time doing it 😂 That day really killed my interest in Twilight still to this day, didn't care to watch any other films from the series, but it'd be cool if you covered them lol 😅
I had almost the exact same experience, I loved the books and was excited for the movie until I saw it and WHOO what an experience. I ended up walking out because I could not handle the cringe. Little 13 year old me was furious, it felt like they made it into a joke and I was not rocking with it. Pretty much killed my citizenship in the fandom before it had even really begun. I couldn’t understand how many people loved it and took that portrayal seriously. It was the big tragedy of 8th grade 💀 I got over it pretty quick though and now I just find the movies hilarious but sometimes I do still wonder what could have been.
My sister drug my dad and brother to it... big mistake. Every time the fangirlies in the audience were like "oooooo ahhhhhh" my dad and brother would start dramatically being like "oooooooo ahhhh" in high pitch voices clearly mocking the girls, which led to a dude close to them who had clearly been dragged go the movie by his gf, laughing throughout the whole movie every time my dad and brother acted out, which led to him getting smacked by his gf. Which caused my dad and brother to continue even more... my sister left humiliated 🤣🤣 never dragged them to a girl movie again tho
I'm gonna be honest, I read the books without knowing it was twilight. Didn't realize until I got to "his skin shimmered, like thousands of tiny diamonds" LMAO Still finished them though

I was in tears laughing at you showing the clip of Edward looking at her “like she’d just ripped a huge fart”. I didn’t really notice that when I watched this before but in retrospect oh my gosh.
I have always loved twilight and I read the books in high school and now that I’m older I like to watch twilight to go to sleep too. It has my most favorite soundtrack. You did a great job on this video. All your points were very valid and you would be a great vampire. if you could please do the entire series thank you.
I remember being 6 or 7 books deep into Charlaine Harris' "The Southern Vampire Mysteries" ("True Blood") when the first "Twilight" film came out, and being so confused by the trailer, because it sounded like a teen version of "True Blood". And any time I pointed this out to "Twilight" fans, they'd immediately try to argue that Charlaine Harris stole her ideas from Stephenie Meyer. The first book in "The Southern Vampire Mysteries" was released in May of 2001. "Twilight" was released in October of 2005. And, yes, I know that they're not the same, but there were too many similarities to be a coincidence, in my opinion. Like, it felt like it went beyond using common tropes.
True. Twilight is also a fan fic of My Chemical Romance. That band formed after 9/11 so theres no way twilight would be first. Not even the idee behind twilight could’ve taken place before The Southern book
I heard somewhere that the author, I think it was in a diary of her behind the scenes, she literally just had Jacob as a plot device. He got turned into an actual character after the first movie came out. That’s why he’s only a device to tell Bella about the vampire council or some shit.
As a former Twihard (Team Jacob) who was obsessed with the books and movies as a tween. Who has since becoming an adult reread, rewatched and read Midnight Sun. (What you've witnessed is just the tip of the creepy iceberg) Anywho, I loved watching you butcher this this movie review. If you make another I'll watch that too.
As a Twilight stan, who was one of those teenagers during this time, I DIED laughing. Please do the rest of the series. I still enjoy them for the nostalgia, but this re-cap was amazing.
My daughter was 10 when the Twilight mayhem hit. She won tickets to the opening night of this movie. I took her and a friend. All I could think was how utterly ridiculous it was. Bella couldn’t act - but just made faces throughout the movie - the same with Edward. And Vampires that play baseball? My daughter and her friend were thrilled. Now however, she thinks they’re ridiculous too!
Growing up in 00’s as a young girl I had fantasies of my crushes visiting me in my bed room when I was asleep in bed. lol …. This was years before I ever knew about twilight
I rewatched it like a good 2-3 years ago and all I remember is that I laughed so much while watching it cause it was really an experience to watch it now vs when I was a kid
If you liked the vampires hissing at each other and the overall ridiculousness of certain vampiric actions, you should definitely watch What we do in the shadows, by Taika Waititi (the movie, but there's a show as well).
"This movie has more heavy breathing than Shonen Anime!" Comedy Gold on TH-cam. You and Penguinz0 have the best quips! Plus I will never call Edward's family the Cullens again because I keep hearing "the Colons" when I watched this. I only regret not having to like the video more than once on the same account.
If you wanna know what the books are like, you could watch Dominic Noble's breakdown of them. Poor guy was so determined to be fair to the books and not hate on them 😅But yeah, I recommend it, he's very entertaining and comes from a similar demographic to you.
I was not expecting the, "I just farted, hope no one notices..." I absolutely started dying of laughter. Especially Edward's reaction Edit: Timestamp - 7:22
I literally saw a group of girls with their custom-made team Edward and team Jacob shirts and signs get in a physical fight in the ticket line over which was better.
I remember going to see the first movie with my friend and her boyfriend. We were the only adults in a theater full of teenage girls. When Edward entered the cafeteria, the girls all screamed so loud I had to cover my ears. I'm not a wimp and can handle most things like that but they hit a volume that I don't think normal, human ears can handle.
Fun fact: Twilight is a fanfic of My Chemical Romance. The band formed because the singer saw 9/11 happen and wanted to do something more with his life and thus started the band. Also, 50 shades of grey is a Twilight fanfic. So basically; is 9/11 didnt happen neither Twilight or 50 shades would exist 🤷🏼♀️
I'm glad you were able to enjoy it. I just remember being in excruciating pain as my brain cells self destructed watching it. Little sister loved the books & begged me to take her to each one. 😩 Never again.
Yes, Twilight does depict some problematic relationship dynamics. BUT as a young woman who was swept up in it at the time, I can say that I never thought, "I want a man to creep on me like Edward." I just thought, "I want Edward." LOL
I was and still am OBSESSED with this franchise. When it first came out I was about 9,so I wasn't the target demographic but I LOVED vampires. (Still do but I have better taste now) The books are much better but the movies have a space in my heart. I still watch them all the time! That being said, this video was HILARIOUS. I'd love for you to do new moon, that's my favorite out of all the movies! 🤙🍀 much love

Haha this video was great. I think one reason I loved Twilight (and maybe others) was that it provided that impactful immersion of being an unremarkable person, and then still coveted by someone as handsome and talented as Edward. Turn up the heat further by adding that it would be a forbidden romance + immortality with said "perfect" guy. It is a strong feeling that many nobodies like me ate up like cake! Also, everyone has their own opinions about Bella, so sorry to offend by saying she's unremarkable. I thought that was part of her character design though; to be plain-Jane and not stand out much. She was no Rosalie.
It'd be great to see you review the rest, lolz torture for you but entertainment for us XD That was a funny take though, and the stalking thing is more prominent in the books. Its pretty damn creepy for sure. I was in middle school when they came out and ended up reading them along with my friends at the time.
I’m gonna say this as someone who used to live where most of Twilight was filmed: you know that scene where Edward saves her in the back alleys after the shopping trip? He’s flooring it down to the end of a dead end road. Look up the Columbia Theater in St Helens, OR, because you see the neon sign for the building right there. If you pan down where Edward goes on google maps, you’ll pass downtown St Helens all the way to the end of the road. 😂
My gf made me watch all the Twilight movies last year. It pains me to say she fell asleep through almost all of them. Meanwhile I was so into it. #TeamEdward
If you like Twilight and Edward, you might like Midnight Sun. It’s the first book/movie but from Edward’s point of view. I’m not a fan of Twilight myself, so I can’t personally say whether it’s good, but I’ve heard positive things from fans.
i actually like how pig goes kinda funny with these movie and having fun with it thats some freshness to other videos when theres a moral story to them , pretty cool
When the first movie came out on DVD, I actually waited in line at Hot Topic at midnight to get my copy. Yes that was a thing back then! I'm re-reading (listening, really) twilight and I have no idea how I even enjoyed that book as a teen (was about 16 when i read them) LOL I honestly enjoy the movies, they're entertaining for sure. There is a lot of backstory and actual relationship development (still very fast but it gives them more time if that makes sense) in the book. I would still kill for a Rosalie side story 👀 Robert Pattinson has come out recently has said he doesn't mind the twilight series now. It's kinda like Miley Cyrus and Party in the USA, where it was too popular to the point they hate it but now they've realized it wasn't THAT bad type of thing? Also, yes please review them all LOL
Lord when you described that far off age that you personally were in middle school, I was like oh yeah I remember that. My friend who is a teacher learned the Soulja Boy dance for her middle school pep rally. Then I felt a little old!
The first minute and 30 seconds sums up how I felt ab twilight in 2009 In middle school with my moms friends coworkers twin daughters asking me ab team Edward or Jacob and me being lost in the further of confusion
Hearing "it was 2008 and i was going into Highschool" made me physically turn back into an actual newborn since i was 4 in 08. Things have made me feel old but never has anything made me feel young
7:48 I can only imagine Bella now smelling like my dog's farts, which are akin to skunk spray, but also thinking that she smells like that makes me laugh. XD
i have not finished yet, but i recently started reading the first book and seeing how dull and weird the mcs are they actually did a really good job portraying the book, which is honestly hilarious. robert patterson and kristen stewart actually did really well, it's just the source sucks. they actually cut a lot of weird stuff, like jacob basically being used and groomed for bella to avoid people. that's what that jacob and bella beach scene was and they're on wolf grounds and friends with some of the people going but not the main group in the movie, like friends of friends situation.
Now you’ll have to do 50 Shades of Gray. It’s like one of Tina from Bob’s Burgers er0t1c stories. I was finished college when this came out so I was not into it. Titanic was huge when I was in school and some classmates saw it like 14 times.
I started watching this while I was really tired and fell asleep but woke up at 14:41 to the sound of pig slapping his hands and moaning, not knowing any context. So that was a very confusing and sussy experience.
Please watch the rest of the series! I used to be obsessed with Twilight back when I was like 13. I read the books before the movies came out and loved the movies. Looking back the movies definitely didn't do the books justice. Not that the books were masterpieces by any means but I wish they had done it differently. That being said I love how bad the movies are. They're such a fun watch and such an interesting look back into 2008/2009 and the Twilight phenomenon that was sweeping the nation. They're iconic I still love them to this day, but not in a serious way the way I did when I was younger. They're cringe and I love it.
Right before it blew up my best friend was reading the book and was obsessed. I distinctly remember opening the book, reading the first page, and immediately shutting the book. It is not a good book lol
The fact that during one of the heavy breathing compilations there was an advertisement for one of those medicines you spray in your nose for better breathing, and I didn't even notice that it's an add until I looked at the screen xD
There's something called the Danny devito effect. Sometimes we don't recognize a toxic character due to attractiveness so If you replace a character with Danny devito and his actions are creepy that means he's toxic 😂
I was in elementary and middle school when the movies came out. My sister got me into it with her/mutual female neighborhood friends. I think I saw the last one with them & I cheered and said some profanities when the blonde got her head ripped off but it was all for not bc it was a look into the future.
I’ve made it my personal goal to see all my favorite TH-camrs react to twilight. The absolute joy as they go through all the stages of grief. So yes please. Finish the series
i honestly love twilight with all my heart, it’s so terrible. but i do really like edwards little reactions to people cause he can hear everyone’s thoughts, like the cafeteria scene and the scene where jasper meets bella. also alice and jasper are the true power couple, the dads are the best and charlie deserves better, rosalie should’ve been the main character.
3:15 One of my favourite things to watch is movie commentators struggle through a movie they absolutely HATE, so yes... I kind of want to watch that Pig... I kind of REALLY want to watch that. I was also a teenager when this movie came out, and luckily i had already made my decision on werewolves versus vampires after seeing Vanhelsing, reading the Anne Rice and Laurell k Hamilton series... I was ALL for the werewolves. I was the minority.... EVERYONE loved the vampires and were so happy with Bella choosing Edward and... I didn't read the books, they were too... teen, for my teenager mind to read haha. I wasn't 12 XD I was ready for the adult novels, and deep into them! So when she did make that decision... I was disappointed... Jacob was so loyal... So i was low key like, well... more for me? I honestly liked him more when i found out he was sharkboy, I'm like YES morph into ALL animals! I also played a druid in world of warcraft.... I was were-animal INVESTED. But yeah... I never got excited over the movies, they were very drawn out... but at least I had an opinion... my teenage self was grateful for the fact that i could add my general opinion on horror movie "villians". Growing up in America was hard... I am so grateful to have moved away to europe, the pressure was intense! Though i miss the humour... and that, my friend, is one of the many reasons i love watching this channel! Plus, who doesn't love watching animated movies?! OR unsolved crimes?! the content is fabulous

I never walked out of films before but that was my first time doing it 😂 That day really killed my interest in Twilight still to this day, didn't care to watch any other films from the series, but it'd be cool if you covered them lol 😅
i would be so uncomfortable if i witnessed that firsthand oh my god 😭😭😭
Might I suggest RiffTrax? If you ever do watch it, watch it with RiffTrax.
@@kaylaanderson5505 How was the movie worse than the book?
Didn't realize until I got to "his skin shimmered, like thousands of tiny diamonds" LMAO
Still finished them though
Wasn’t the title “Twilight”?
@@PeopleRTheProblem someone had removed the covering for it so they looked like regular books and it was also like 2010-11 and I had not yet watched the actual movies
My mom is obsessed with twilight and we binge watch it for her entertainment every once in a while. I love watching it with friends because it’s absolutely hilarious. Charlie and Alice are the only acceptable characters
Emmett is so chill though, he's just like "yeah I have super strength and all that, I'm just gonna goof around".
I love twilight books and movies and it is so hilarious hearing your take on the movies because you're 100% right. I couldn't quite put my finger on what irritated me about Bella's character but you hit the head right on the nail. IT'S THE CONSTANT HEAVY BREATHING!! not to mention how dinky she is.
Exactly lol. Also her screaming in New Moon is the worst, I always skip over that part.
It's very awkward and I always mistake it by someone giving birth o.o
Charlie Swan was the dad we all needed tbh.
knowing the actor who played edward hated edward really adds another level of amazing to the twilight saga
@divlnnityx i never said he hated twilight, i said he hated edward, as in the character. he DOES hate edward and think the whole relationship between them is weird. okay? you can watch the interviews where he says so, thank you and make sure to reply to the hundreds of other people saying the exact same thing
I was in tears laughing at you showing the clip of Edward looking at her “like she’d just ripped a huge fart”. I didn’t really notice that when I watched this before but in retrospect oh my gosh.
Not real! the message above is a scam btw, don't trust it!
Please do the whole series! This was hilarious I have watched it twice already!
I remember watching the entire saga, those are days that I can never get back.
I have always loved twilight and I read the books in high school and now that I’m older I like to watch twilight to go to sleep too. It has my most favorite soundtrack. You did a great job on this video. All your points were very valid and you would be a great vampire. if you could please do the entire series thank you.
The soundtrack was indeed banging. I will always appreciate it for introducing me to Blue Foundation and thus a major musical awakening.
They glorified the hell out of vampires while Jacob was warning bella every movie lmao
I heard somewhere that the author, I think it was in a diary of her behind the scenes, she literally just had Jacob as a plot device. He got turned into an actual character after the first movie came out. That’s why he’s only a device to tell Bella about the vampire council or some shit.
i recently did a twilight marathon and i was suffocating from laughing so much. pls watch the rest of the series, it just gets better with each movie~
As a former Twihard (Team Jacob) who was obsessed with the books and movies as a tween. Who has since becoming an adult reread, rewatched and read Midnight Sun. (What you've witnessed is just the tip of the creepy iceberg)
Anywho, I loved watching you butcher this this movie review.
If you make another I'll watch that too.
What really bothers me is that Jacob ONLY liked Bella for her eggs😂
What
@@idiomatic444he fell in love with her baby.
@@edatheowllady9518 dear lord
@Ks why would the author even put that in wtf
As a Twilight stan, who was one of those teenagers during this time, I DIED laughing. Please do the rest of the series. I still enjoy them for the nostalgia, but this re-cap was amazing.
I’m gonna need more of these, this is peak comedy for me.
Now however, she thinks they’re ridiculous too!
with age this movie changed from amazing and heart throbbing to a cult classic comedy
The weird thing is how all of the romance or "sensual" scenes are so clearly written by a Mormon.
"This movie has more heavy breathing than Shonen Anime!"
Comedy Gold on TH-cam.
Poor Dom has suffered so much for our entertainment 😂
even though ive never been a twilight fan, i love watching people talk about it, please do all the movies
I was not expecting the, "I just farted, hope no one notices..." I absolutely started dying of laughter. Especially Edward's reaction
Edit: Timestamp - 7:22
I literally saw a group of girls with their custom-made team Edward and team Jacob shirts and signs get in a physical fight in the ticket line over which was better.
As a former Twilight fan, I love Twilight slander and I cannot wait for you to watch and review the other four movies 👀
Why did teen girls in the 2000s loved Twilight?
@@modmaker7617it’s natural for girls to obsess over weird men, like men do with women characters lol
@@_.izxy.edits.stuff._
Honestly, that's a good explanation. I as a guy loved me some Raven from Teen Titans and other "oddball" girls like that.
How is it fanfic of MCR? I knew the author liked MCR but haven’t read anything saying twilight is fanfic of the band
@@MajesticAngel13 I read in the official art book that basically she had a dream in wich the MCR cast were vampires, thus Twilight happened
My husband and I watch this saga when we need a good laugh. Charlie is our favorite protagonist.
I was and still am OBSESSED with this franchise. When it first came out I was about 9,so I wasn't the target demographic but I LOVED vampires. (Still do but I have better taste now)
The books are much better but the movies have a space in my heart. I still watch them all the time!
That being said, this video was HILARIOUS. I'd love for you to do new moon, that's my favorite out of all the movies! 🤙🍀 much love
Whenever he says Cullen I swear it sounds like he’s saying colon
It’s lisa from zathura
It’s sharkboy from shark boy and lava girl
It’s cedric from Harry Potter and the goblet of fire
I NEED MORE OF THESE MOVIE COMMENTARIES THEY KEEP ME F@1*ING GOING 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
I was forced to watch this with my mom and sister as a young boy.
Bro, I just found your channel and I'm immediately a subscriber. I absolutely love your content, your humor, and your personality. It's kind of hard to make me laugh out loud, but dude I have scream-laughed a few times watching your content. Hell yeah man, glad I found your channel!
God damn you did not have to hit me with so much nostalgia at one time
"He grabs her and starts climbing a tree" is such a funny sentence
Whenever you did the breathing and said fuck, I coughed so much while laughing 😅😂😂😂😂
It'd be great to see you review the rest, lolz torture for you but entertainment for us XD
That was a funny take though, and the stalking thing is more prominent in the books.
#TeamEdward
Plz go to the nearest hospital and ask for a lobotomy.
Bro, you might need a professional
@@jessehutchings can’t believe I thought this was a safe place
If you like Twilight and Edward, you might like Midnight Sun. It’s the first book/movie but from Edward’s point of view. I’m not a fan of Twilight myself, so I can’t personally say whether it’s good, but I’ve heard positive things from fans.
@Chizel i respect it. Team jacob tho 💅
i actually like how pig goes kinda funny with these movie and having fun with it
thats some freshness to other videos when theres a moral story to them , pretty cool
I would still kill for a Rosalie side story 👀
Robert Pattinson has come out recently has said he doesn't mind the twilight series now.
Yes please do more
Do the whole twilight series
The first minute and 30 seconds sums up how I felt ab twilight in 2009 In middle school with my moms friends coworkers twin daughters asking me ab team Edward or Jacob and me being lost in the further of confusion
Hearing "it was 2008 and i was going into Highschool" made me physically turn back into an actual newborn since i was 4 in 08. Things have made me feel old but never has anything made me feel young
Mf I was BORN in 08
7:48 I can only imagine Bella now smelling like my dog's farts, which are akin to skunk spray, but also thinking that she smells like that makes me laugh. XD
Let's see the rest of Twilight please!
Around 5:20 he’s talking about a deer, and says, “holding on for dear life” heheh. I’ll see myself out
IS THAT THE BATMAN?!
It’s da bat
i have not finished yet, but i recently started reading the first book and seeing how dull and weird the mcs are they actually did a really good job portraying the book, which is honestly hilarious. robert patterson and kristen stewart actually did really well, it's just the source sucks. they actually cut a lot of weird stuff, like jacob basically being used and groomed for bella to avoid people. that's what that jacob and bella beach scene was and they're on wolf grounds and friends with some of the people going but not the main group in the movie, like friends of friends situation.
Now you’ll have to do 50 Shades of Gray.
It’s like one of Tina from Bob’s Burgers er0t1c stories.
I was finished college when this came out so I was not into it. Titanic was huge when I was in school and some classmates saw it like 14 times.
wensday addams stalks her love intrests and no one batts an eye
edward does it and everyone loses their minds
I started watching this while I was really tired and fell asleep but woke up at 14:41 to the sound of pig slapping his hands and moaning, not knowing any context. So that was a very confusing and sussy experience.
"His glitter colors." Words cannot described how perturbed I was that they sparkle.
“Instantly gets bullied by a dude who says ‘Nice ride.’”
This video is so perfectly timed, right as I've re-entered my twilight phase lol

True vampires have a "flatting" situation in New Zealand. 🤣
Right before it blew up my best friend was reading the book and was obsessed. I distinctly remember opening the book, reading the first page, and immediately shutting the book. It is not a good book lol
9:57 Sin.. Sin city wasnt maaaade for youuu
The fact that during one of the heavy breathing compilations there was an advertisement for one of those medicines you spray in your nose for better breathing, and I didn't even notice that it's an add until I looked at the screen xD
There's something called the Danny devito effect.
Sometimes we don't recognize a toxic character due to attractiveness so
If you replace a character with Danny devito and his actions are creepy that means he's toxic 😂
Don't disgrace Danny Devito like that. He's the nicest guy ever
It's actually called "pretty privilege"
I was in elementary and middle school when the movies came out. My sister got me into it with her/mutual female neighborhood friends. I think I saw the last one with them & I cheered and said some profanities when the blonde got her head ripped off but it was all for not bc it was a look into the future.
These are probably my husband's and I's favorite movies to watch together. We laugh the whole time lol
OR unsolved crimes?! the content is fabulous
i wanna see the rest of the series i beg 🙏🏼
I’m sorry for your sanity Pig but I think we all need you to do this whole series of movies
I remember the parody film version of Twilight where the Edward being "horny after first time smell Bella blood scent" to actually because Bella ate onion bread
