It’s about time! Years ago I read about a brain surgeon who was gay. He said that he never would have chosen to be gay and wanted to understand why some people were gay. He got permission from several gay men who had aids to study their brains after their deaths. His study showed that the section of the brain that governs sexuality was smaller; more like the size of women’s. This could happen to anyone. God doesn’t make mistakes. He must have a reason and a purpose for everyone and everything. We are “ all God’s children “. No human being deserves to be treated with anything less than RESPECT.
I read in a textbook in one of my classes (can’t remember) the same thing but it was like a certain substance or chemical in our brains that was more similar among gay men and women vs straight men

It’s about time! Years ago I read about a brain surgeon who was gay. He said that he never would have chosen to be gay and wanted to understand why some people were gay. He got permission from several gay men who had aids to study their brains after their deaths. His study showed that the section of the brain that governs sexuality was smaller; more like the size of women’s. This could happen to anyone. God doesn’t make mistakes. He must have a reason and a purpose for everyone and everything. We are “ all God’s children “. No human being deserves to be treated with anything less than RESPECT.

Yes, indeed. If people can once think of themselves as if they have a child who is a gay, then I'm sure they would be able to feel first hand God's love themselves. We all love our children. And, God loves them even more, no matter who or what they are. If those gays are other people's children we tend to fail to feel that love, and quick to judge by our selfishness and lacking of love. I believe our merciful God is definitely not like that. Ask yourself, will you condemn your children and won't allow them to have a normal family life if they are gays?
All in all, the true faith is based on LOVE, not on rigidly following some "rules" or "doctrines". Yeah, and I don't know why people think they can compete with God's wisdom. I am a Catholic and I know Jesus love me very very much. The fact that now the Pope is confirming my condition, is a thing to celebrate.
He said homosexuals, he didn't say heterosexuals doing homosexual acts. Even the pope knows that people are just born the way they are born. The catholic church is always a bit behind. But it's pretty nice to see them catching up.

Nobody's opinion can change the contents of the Bible. Heaven and earth may pass away, but the word of God remains. As a Christian, your foundation is the word of God in the Bible. His word does not fall to the ground. God loves everyone, and so He gave the Bible, so all may be saved....stay in the teaching of the Bible. I love you!

Only those who have accepted Jesus as lord and savior are children of God. Those who have not come to repentance are yet enemies of God. He so loved us that he provided his son Jesus to take our place and in doing so, he overcame death and the penalty of sin. If only we accept his gift of salvation.
Jesus said to the pharises, you are children of your father--the devil. All who sin and don't repent are children of the devil. You can't be in God's family or His presence if you sin against a holy, perfect God. No sin is greater than the next and therefore the only way to actually have God's love is to accept Jesus as your saviour AND turn away from sin.

When he was archbishop of Buenos Aires he was against legalisation of marriage equality in Argentina. He fought a campaign against Cristina Kirchner. Note that he doesn't talk about civil marriage but rather civil unions which are still discriminatory.
