    Really like how you used your finger to point out as you explained what was going on.
    Alot of people try to explain things and just leave you to guess which piece they're taking about.
    So I'm giving you a 👍 up for the ☝️.

      Lol. Appreciate the kind words and feedback Keith. Kind of new to this whole process and I hope to get better in time. Thanks so much for watching.
      Another viewer recommended some LED low beam replacements I haven’t been able to find. Hoping to do a review on them soon.

    I have a 6” snow flap on my warn plow, i highly recommend it. I like to plow fast on flat straight areas, and the snow likes to come over the top of the plow, and helps with head wind some as well. Id like to get the side plow wings to expand the width and keep snow more contained as well, but i may manufacture my own being they are on the pricy end. Ill try them out first before i spend that money.

    You should check out Moose snow plows if this one doesn't work out for you... also try synthetic rope instead of wire cable... just tie the rope on and cut it as needed.... you will have less hassle with synthetic rope... Once the gravel driveway freezes you will not want that pvc tube on the bottom of your plow

    I got the same setup but my pins give me hell underneath. They are so long that they butt up against something which makes extremely difficult to unlatch the safety clip. I decided to stop latching it but ended up losing one pin lmao. Time to cut them shorter when I purchase another set.

    • @EverydayATV
      @EverydayATV  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes the safety clips on the pins are a pain. Only saving this is unusually leave the plow on for the winter season. It’s only if I want to take a joy ride in the snow that I have to take it off and on again.

    That pulley broke on mine the first time I used the plow, not sure what they were thinking on that one. I just hooked my winch to the bolt that held the pulley and it works fine.
    Question - Does your plow trip easily? Mine is terrible trips all time and its on the stiffest setting, and have to drive at a snails pace to keep it from tripping. Having said that, the Rubicon will push an incredible amount of snow.

    • @EverydayATV
      @EverydayATV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry to hear about the pulley. That stinks. Mine’s held up fine so far after 3 big snows. I have my springs set on the normal setting. It only tripped once on me and that was when I was pushing the snow into a bank. I do have the shoes set up a bit as to not push the gravel on the road and driveway. That may be helping me a bit. Not sure how often it would trip if I had it all the way down on a concrete driveway.
      My only concern has been how long it cranks on a cold start when it’s around 35 degrees in the garage. It will crank at least 10 seconds before it starts and then runs perfectly fine. The garage is always just above freezing and even if I had ran it the day before, it will always crank that long when it’s cold. Over the fall when temps were moderate, it would always start immediately when cold. I almost think my old ‘94 Fourtrax 300 started faster in the cold and that was with a carb and not fuel injection.

    HI i have a 2017 Foreman, i wasn`t sure if the pro vantage mount would fit on it. I would say that the frame of the 17 foreman and rubicon are identical? I tried to look on amazon and it does say the mount would not fit on my foreman. It can be confusing. Would you agree that this set up would fit my 2017 foreman? Thanks

      The following are the Honda Part numbers for the Plow, the Push Tube and the Mount.
      Plow Blade - 08L76-HR3-A21
      Plow Push Tube - 08L77-HR3-A21
      Plow Mount - 08L75-HR3-A20
      If you look at page 82-83, it look like the same 3 parts also fit your year Foreman. My 2021 520 is listed on another page but the part numbers are the same. Keep in mind these are Honda's Part Numbers and not Warn's. On Warn's site, the plow and push tube are the same (different part numbers) but the mount I listed is made especially for Honda.

    I have a Honda foreman… and i need a plow. But doesn’t using the winch get the cable bound up with such short uses? Up,down,up,down,up,down,up,down.

    • @EverydayATV
      @EverydayATV  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Never had an issue with that. There’s less than a foot of cable that goes in and out for the plow and it always spools back up in the same place. If you unwound the entire winch for a recovery, I would think you have a much greater chance of the cable binding up reeling it all back in.

    For some odd reason, my power steering doesn't work with the plow on. Any suggestions? 2020 honda rubicon with 60" proadvantage warn plow with the proadvantage push tube and the universal mount

    • @EverydayATV
      @EverydayATV  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wow that’s crazy. Are you saying the electric power steering only doesn’t work when the winch for the plow is in operation or it doesn’t work at all any time the plow is installed? If it’s only when running the winch then it has to to be some type of an electric draw issue where they both can’t be running at the same time. If it happens only when the plow is attached to the ATV then maybe there’s something binding the steering linkage or maybe shorting out the power steering unit. Either way is an issue as I’ve never experienced this with mine.
      Did this just start happening or been since day one?

      @@EverydayATV
      Yes, the electric power steering isn't working with the plow attachment.. Disclaimer, I did install it only a few days ago and haven't used the ATV in a few months.. I have used the winch before without the plow and have had no issues. I haven't tried removing the plow yet to see if it would work without the plow. I feel like it would be odd for the plow mount to be binding on the power steering or even the plow itself? There's no PS light on the cluster and the power steering fluid is at the upper level. I can't find anybody else having the same issue as me and was hoping to get pointed in the right direction before spending countless time trying to resolve the issue. Any suggestions would be appreciated :)

    • @EverydayATV
      @EverydayATV  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@user-js4vs4pt5i best thing is to try solving it one step at a time. The next step I would suggest is taking off the plow mount and see if the power steering works again. It must be binding on something although I can’t imagine the mount being that close to any of the steering components. I’m T our other house now, so I can’t look at my setup.
      If it still doesn’t work even with the mount off, then you can eliminate the plow as the source of the issue. I would then check to see if you have a blow fuse for the power steering unit or possible a loose wire. Let me know what happens when you try again with the plow off.

    • @user-js4vs4pt5i
      @user-js4vs4pt5i 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So.. I took the plow off and bang. Night and day of a difference. Power steering worked amazing and then I put the plow back on.. It's like cement 😂. I did have it all the way in the furthest back hole of the bracket under the ATV and I tried the most front hole this time and it is better but I do still find it pretty hard to turn still considering I have power steering. I don't see the push tube binding on anything either.. I know there's a lot of weight in the front now and it should be a little harder but I think it's a little ridiculous on how stiff the steering is. Thoughts? 😅

    • @EverydayATV
      @EverydayATV  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@user-js4vs4pt5i check out Max’s video on the install. You might also try and reach out to him for his thoughts, as he’s installed a bunch of these. Also one thing I noticed is that Max and I both have 54” plows and yours is a 60”. Wondering if that extra weight of the plow is putting more strain on the power steering and is bogging it down.

    Nice! Youre gonna need better tires now👍

    • @EverydayATV
      @EverydayATV  ปีที่แล้ว

      The stock tires have been surprisingly good for plowing and working around the house. Definitely will look at some bigger and more aggressive when these wear out.
      Next project is to try the can of Hyperdip (it’s like plastidip) in a color called Brass Monkey for spraying the black part of the factory aluminum wheels. The color is a match to the Honda Matte Molasses Brown and is removable/peal-able. Just need warmer weather to spray it.

    shorten the axle strap and you would get a higher lift

    • @EverydayATV
      @EverydayATV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Totally agree. My only issue with that is that my mount for the plow is a mid mount, so the pivot point for the mount is behind the wheels. I don’t have that much room before the plow rails hit the bottom of the frame while lifting. The front mounts that swivel in front of the wheels allow for a much higher lift. In that case yes, a shorter strap would allow me to lift the plow much higher.
      Appreciate the feedback and thanks for watching 👍
