Warn “Provantage” ATV Plow Fixes

(Sorry I say Warn “winch” at first, but I am referring to only the Warn plow).
Warn is a quality brand, but wow, they made some poor design choices in their Provantage ATV Plow kit. The brittle plastic rope guide and the strange mile-long run of winch wire/rope to the rear of the mount to an eye hook.
Having been plowing with ATV’s for decades in eastern Canada winters, I have learned what works well and what doesn’t. As this was my first Warn set up, I expected the best…
Not so, but with end-user modifications, this is now a sustainable set up that won’t eat through these silly plastic guides, won’t freeze up cable underneath the bike, won’t break cable and isn’t a pain to attach the which line off/on the plow. All for next to no extra money!
Needed items:
1. Metal drill bit (sized to allow fit of warn supplied eye hook) and drill
2. Existing Warn supplied eye hook and Allen keys/socket to fit
3.Automobile seat belt length with clasp still attached
