- Hello and welcome to Train Sim World 5!
In today's episode of Train Sim World 5 we're back on the West Coast Mainline, this time however we're heading back down South towards London Euston. We're on a non stop service today which originated it's journey in Crewe, we're starting in Milton Keynes and heading straight to London.
Our service today is a London Not-Western Railway service which is using a pair of Class 350 units. We're making do with the lack of London Northwestern branding, I think for now we'll have to use our imaginations!

I wish they did Leeds to Sheffield via Barnsley (& Slow via Castleford) or with the route via Moorthorpe plus Doncaster) with the class 195 via Barnsley. And 331 Doncaster to Leeds and add-ons make it a profitable route to make. Oh well I can dream lol

Yeah, if you have signal aspect showing on the HUD, it can sometimes give you a false impression of following something when it's actually just the dispatcher rolling your movement authority along as you go. But you did actually run into traffic at one point, obviously: what was the service number?
And yeah, 15 mph is too fast for the platform TPWS traps. 15 is I think actually the triggering speed; most drivers keep it below 10 to be sure of not getting tripped.
I picked up TSW5 and started playing again and I am enjoying this route. One of my favourites so far, especially if you have the Overground train and then Pendelino, with the amount of AI traffic it feels like a busy mainline with other services passing etc. It's a shame that they sold the Pen as a separate DLC when required for the route, but Dovetail is going to Dovetail. The only major issue is the length which maybe stops it being top tier. Its still a better offering however I think it's a better offering than the East Coast Mainline - from last year with a bigger choice of services to run. Another slight pet peeve of mine is why on Time Table mode does it not list what stops the service you are choosing stops at?
If you escape and select Schedule, it will tell you all the stops. You do need to start the service first though.
@@davidhamm7909 yeah that's what I mean. It would be nice to be able to know that information before loading in. Just give me the stops on the timetable screen when I'm deciding what to do. Let me know if I'm running direct to Milton Keynes or stopping at Watford Junction! 🤣

Nice video. I think LNWR only stop at Wembley Central on big matchdays, otherwise it's just Southern on the mainline platforms.
