Great video love the information! I was wondering where can I find this craft? Kiln or can I do the same thing with a microwave kiln? Also, where can I find molds to make jewelry and figurines
A video on Slumping then later fusing locking parts/hangers or vice versa would be great for making larger multi piece/colored statues. This is my aim. "How to make Glass Statues from multiple pieces and self connected parts" would probably be a big hit for many. Awesome information you have here, thank you! Also do you have any procedures on mixing solid metals with glass such as bronze? I'm planning on using this kiln to sinter bronze 3D prints from Bronze Filled PLA made by The Virtual Foundry.
I made a tree of life large cave hon in a mold and fired it in the Craft kiln for 15 minutes plus 5 minutes. I came out very nice and I did sone cold work and then wanted to fire polish in the craft kiln. I put it in and set it for 15 minutes but it shattered before the first 5 minutes expired. How can I fire polish in a Craft kiln?
I am a beginner and am interested in purchasing this kiln. I would like to make small rounded (but flat bottomed) glass "beads" to make animal eyes for my stained glass projects. Would this be achieved by using glass rods for uniformity? If so, how do you cut them (the rods)? I'm thinking hand cutting glass into these tiny pieces would not be uniform. Any helpful suggestions? Thanks and VERY HELPFUL video! Kristy 😊
Hi! I'm from Portugal - where in Europe can I get this Craft Kiln, also adapted to 220W? I loved your video, I used to make this type of pendants as well as earrings, rings, and more in a microwave fuse small kiln - kind of an igloo - but now the people who sold it together with glass, frits, etc, have gone out of business and I can't find anywhere to purchase these things (although I do have a lot stashed). But I am amazed at your kiln and would like to purchase one. Can you help me? Thank you and congratulations for your beautiful work! Isabel
Hi Isabel. We will have 220W available in 6 weeks. You can purchase it from us on our website. You can always contact customer service when you are ready to order at diamondtechcrafts.com
Thank you for your answer! That, I know - but costs with transportation and tax would be enormous. That is why I asked whether you had a dealer here in Europe. Usually US suppliers have a dealer in the UK and then it would be much easier for me to purchase one of your kilns. As it is, I'm afraid it would become extremely expensive. I will be looking on diamondtechcrafts.com nevertheless :)
Hola compre un horno igual que este y cuando le pongo las pieza I empieza a trabajar se enciende el papel y hace mucho humo por favor necesito alguien que me allude gracias
Have had this kiln for about 4 months. Initially, I was successfully fusing coaster sized pieces and small bowls. Now everything I put into the kiln cracks in the first 5 minutes. Using only 96 COE glass from the same source and keeping the size small. Very strange.
Hi Michael. We currently don't have any dealers in Europe or Africa but we do have dealers in the US that sell internationally. Here are the links. I want to do the steel rod pull through the molten glass to make patterns. I have seen it done with regular size kilns. I have done it with my fuseworks microwave kiln but it wasn't easy. Could it be done with this kiln? - Heidi
It is possible to do however it would prove to be difficult similar to the microwave kiln, as both kilns would need to have the lid opened too far for too long to comb the molten glass. There would be a great risk of thermally shocking your piece and it cracking.
My molds broke in the 1st 5 minutes.🙄 I tried different small molds from different sources. At least one of each bunch, broke before 5 minutes in this kiln.
Hi Laura. I'm sorry to hear your having bad results with the mold. Please contact us directly at info@diamondtechcrafts.com and we will be happy to figure out a solution for you.

Thank you so much for the molds tips. I've been struggling with them in this kiln.
I do stained glass. I am hoping to use my scraps to make nuggets. I will of course not mix glass.
What are the wedges made of and where can they be purchased? My Google and Amazon search did not return hopeful results. Thanks!

It’s so simple you don’t need one.
It's been 5 years since you made this video and I don't know if you'll get this message. I want to use my kiln for metal clay is that possible.

Cut small squares off sheet and full fire. The mmebtioned contraction will cause it to round out making exactly what you are after
I had a commander in Fla in the 1970s. Him and him and his wife fused pieces of glass to wine goblets. Do you know how they did this ??

Did this continue to happen? Interested in purchasing one but not if it will stop fusing and just shatters pieces

Useful video, but what is wrong with the audio?
I'm trying to find kiln shelves you used.

Improper disposal of the fiber paper and no mask - improper eyewear for viewing hot glass!!
Thanks Karen.
Except these things can kill you with repeated long term exposure. or am I a Karen too?
