Had the same problem trying to staple a cover onto a yamaha seat pan. The manual T50 staplers just dont have enough zip to penetrate the palstic. I went to Harbor Freight and bought a air powered 20 guage wide crown stapler for 25 bucks. You can use the arrow T50 staples in it. 1/4 inch work perfect.
Great idea - not sure why I never looked into that! I don't have air tools so maybe I'll get an electric one. They're not too expensive and I would certainly have other uses for it - thx!
I ended up getting a custom Corbin for mine. Did not to risk screwing up doing it myself with a Seat Concepts. Here great things about them and have had one on a DRZ400SM I had in the past. I'm still in break-in, but pleased thus far with the Corbin. How you liking your's so far?
I’m still a fan of the tall comfort seat. But, I sold that bike in summer 2023 and bought a 2016 WR250R and I put the same seat on. I still have that bike and the Seat Concepts Tall Comfort. I’ve done a couple multi-day rides, up around 200 miles a day. This seat is great
Nice looking bike. 👍🏻

Get a pneumatic staple gun much stronger and will make doing it easier.

So far so good. I'm liking it more with each ride. Still waiting for the next long ride. Bike just got back from 600 mile service
@@motogravel Cool. I coming up on my 600 mile service as well.
