    yo Hox, appreciate u making vids like this, a great service. I remember watching your vids loads about 5 years ago cos I couldn't afford any designer as a teenager, now I got a job and just copped my first Canada goose! Felt like a real achievement after all this time, but don't worry I'm saving the rest of my money haha just wanted to treat myself one time. Stay blessed bro!

    I just got my first stone island bits recently and it's been a huge want of mine over the years.
    I've been a supreme collector since 2014 and have a decent collection considering am not super minted.
    I've been mindful that being nearly 39 n wearing supreme people might think am daft n shud grow up but I know what I love my supreme and it's mostly all coloborations bits I have and I like wearing it and that's all that matters.
    But with that in mind I managed to get the stone island x supreme spider hoodie coloboration peice from last year it's super nice and no one would no it's supreme. I also just bought some stone island cargo sweatpants from flannels and I am super happy with the quality and fit on them. I can see why people would say it's overpriced but it's an Italian fashion house and it is what it is. I love saving up and getting what I have saved for makes me feel great to eventually get the item and everytine I put it on after that it gives me that confidence and pride in myself. I think if clothing and fashion is a kinda hobby for you it's always going to be worth it but if your just looking for clothes to wear then it's ob alot. I always say to people who aren't seriouse into there clothing of u really like a design just buy a high end copy and rock it. But for me it's got to be authentic as it's more than just buying clothes to wear.
    Also authentic always holds value if you decide to sell later down the line aswell.
    Love the Vids ❤

    Designer clothing prices are getting out of hand, especially when you compare them to the current financial climate in the UK. With the cost of living crisis, skyrocketing energy bills, and stagnant wages, it feels like luxury fashion is completely disconnected from reality. Who can justify spending thousands on a jacket when people are struggling to make ends meet? The gap between everyday life and ‘high-end fashion’ has never felt wider.
    I remember 3-4 years ago, when jackets were around £150-£600 max, and now you’d be very lucky to pick up a designer jacket for under £800 in the sale, which is just crazy, especially when the quality of these jackets is getting worse and worse as these designer houses start to cut corners in order to maximise their profits.

    With fast fashion I think some of it can look more than the money but buying online is russian roulette. If you're a young person and fit then you can probably get away with crappy clothing regardless it just starts to look sloppy after you're 30. When I was younger (and thinner!) I used buy a good quality jacket and cheap out on everything else. Of course the price of good quality stuff was less outrageous back then.

    Problem with buying pieces like this is when or if you do decide to move them on they dont command any value reselling, atleast with your S.I, C.P etc they hold atleast 50% of the price you paid to sell on get some £ back.

    • @thehoxtontrend
      @thehoxtontrend  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Current state of the market, you'd be very lucky to 50% that's a stretch now,, more like 40 to 30%, , canada goose 1200, people are not paying 600 for used CG jackets anymore, at least at the current state of the economy, same with stone island, pre-owned has dropped badly in value terms, i'd rather buy a £60 jacket and wear it for 2 years and give it charity at the end

      @@thehoxtontrend The bits i pick up nowadays are 90% Vinted and ebay. I tend to look for the “buyers regret” pieces that sellers cant return and have only tried on or worn once so still like new condition at good prices. I personally cant afford the prices nowadays like i could 20 years ago in my youth in stores.Enjoying the content Hox 👍🏼
